William Gargan, M.Ed
Technology & Instructional Design 🎓

To be the second person in my family to receive their Masters is a blessing, and to complete my program at WGU in just a little over 4 months (w/ no debt) is something I will forever be proud of. I’m extremely thankful for everyone who has supported me during my academic career. Time to finally focus on my calling — being a teacher that I would want, and make a difference one student at a time.

Maybe Dr. G would sound pretty dope… Ed.D 🔜? 👀

Skylar, this was all for you. All the lives you’ve touched, all the people you believed in, and everything you stood for… you were taken from us too soon. Why must we lose the best ones? The ones with the contagious smile, best sense of humor, and above all, greatest sense of hope and optimism for a better future, even when things are at it’s darkest. You’ve impacted myself and others more than you will ever believe.

This show is something you have always wanted: the community working together. Unfortunately, it came with the cost of our best friend not being able to see it. However, you were there. Your spirit was felt in us all. I felt your presence and heard your voice on that stage. This show was bigger than anything I, or all of us, have ever done. I’m sure you were smiling down on us jamming to your favorite band ever.

The dead are not silent. My music career is dedicated to you. I and many will keep your voice alive.

I miss you, and will love you forever Skylar Berry. 💜

Class of 2026,

The first class I’ve ever taught. You had to endure my student teaching days. Yikes. However, like how I hope I taught you something, you’ve taught me something too. You’ve taught me to keep pushing to be the best teacher I can be. To be patient. To be understanding and more empathetic. Above all, be in the moment, because you really can never stop this train. You’ve made my first steps into teaching one I will never forget in my career. I will cherish our time we had together.

You’re all going to do great things. I’m so proud of you all. I wish I could have fit more than just 20 photos, because I had way more. I’ll never forget y’all.

Just promise me one thing. Be good people and love more. The world needs more of that.

Rock on forever 🤘🏼
