The durational performance “Der friedliche Verkehr” is about the mobilization of mass, working against the appearance of closed states, and the traffic between people, objects, and technology. My babe said life is what you spend your attention on.Mikrohandwerk (micro-craft) is parallel to neural plasticity in artistic work [gear brain]. It’s fine-attention towards learning a material through small personal tricks and hacks, sharing them again, it becomes like a highway with attention to aesthetics formed through sharing. On view until 17.08.25 @wienmuseum_musa as part of the exhibition ‘Zwidemu‘In MUSA Wien Museum one of the bushes from Maria-Theresien-Platz is made accessible. These ornamental shrubs are central to Zwidemu, as they make the square hard to oversee and create places to hide. A handwritten note has been left behind in the bush.Hidden away inside the bush’s dense, monstrous interior, a tripping teenager arranges the events outside into a symbolic order of his own. While he condemns the groups on the lawn areas to silence, he enjoys his hermit-like position as an observing outsider. With no intention to situate himself or engaging with the others, the narrator describes what is happening outside the bush.Wir haben einen der Büsche des Maria-Theresien-Platzes im MUSA Wien Museum begehbar gemacht. Die Ziersträucher sind zentral für das Zwidemu – sie machen den Platz unübersichtlich und bieten Möglichkeiten zum Verstecken. Ein handgeschriebener Zettel ist in dem Busch hinterlassen worden. Zurückgezogen im monströsen Innenraum, bringt ein trippender Teenager das Geschehen draußen in eine für ihn symbolhafte Ordnung.
