A new coffee shop just quietly opened in Nolita - they are whisking and brewing ☕️🍵 With so much going on in NYC, the space at the cafe feels so calming, bright, and spacious. It reminded me of the cafes in Asia that I like to visit when traveling, somewhere you can sit and people watch.

Mango Strawberry Latte & Mango Matcha Latte: 🍓🥭 I tried both but my friend wanted it sweet since she’s not a huge matcha fan, I’d go back and get the matcha lattes without the sweetener to really taste the matcha 🍵 The purées are made in house and perfectly sweet. The colors are beautiful and bright.

Iced Summer Americano🍋🍯: As someone who loves anything tart, this is right up my alley. If you prefer it more tart or less tart, definitely let them know. If you want a more coffee forward drink, this might not be the drink but if you want a caffeine boost with a refreshing tartness - this is the one! Also for all my honey lemon drink lovers, this probably will hit the spot. Imagine 凍檸蜜 but in coffee form ( iykyk )

I can’t stop thinking about these egg tarts, soo perfectly not too sweet with such a strong tea flavor. I wish this was in NYC/NJ so I have easy access to it, would totally order it 🥹 My friend ordered these for her event when we were in Philly and I’m so happy I got to try them, my friend has good taste 😆

Follow her on IG for her menu and pop up info( she also does pick up orders I believe)! I also tried the cream puffs and hojicha cake, also very good and again very strong tea notes. I’m so jealous of people in philly who can order her pastries 🥐

Another sushi counter/ omakase addition to the many sushi spots in NYC

Tachi just launched their new lunch meal featuring chirashi and donburi bowls for those who want the same omakase quality but don’t want to commit to a whole omakase, no waiting in between bites - you just dig in 😆 It’s perfect if you want to treat yourself and elevate your weekday lunch

I didn’t try the omakase but it was nice to be able to sit at the counter for a more casual lunch. If you’re wondering if I was full or not, I wasn’t lol I’m a big eater so i think I really needed 2 bowls to myself

For the price point, I think it is very good value ( $48 for an omakase) and overall pretty solid

I do have to say this will be on one of my favorite Asian spots in NYC this year!! I love Chinese food, ultimate comfort food for me and so many dishes here hits the spot. I appreciate the creative fusion aspects to some of the dishes while some are just simple and has all the flavors of classic Chinese dishes, like the grandma’s noodle is so simple but so much wok hei 🥰 And everything is under $20, love that!!

Mooncake season is coming up next month (9/25) and Lady M once again has a beautiful 2026 limited edition mid autumn festival mooncake gift set to celebrate this year 💫✨

The 6 mooncakes ( 2 of each flavor) are nestled inside a box with a rotating globe projector that projects a magical celestial display, so dreamy and beautiful 🥮 Growing up, we always had the mooncakes in the metal containers from the Chinese bakeries which are always nostalgic for me so this definitely is luxurious for me 🥹 I do still prefer traditional mooncakes but I think this mooncake set wins with the presentation more so than the flavor, as it is more about the experience and the gifting gesture which is what mid autumn festival is also about.

I’ve never had so much yuzu sweets in one sitting and I loved it!! For the August monthly special, @ooika.co is doing a collab with @theyuzuco for matcha/hojicha yuzu lemonades and also these yuzu streets ( also made with @theyuzuco )!

Anything tart is right up my alley so I had to stop by for the August monthly special!!

@ooika.co + @theyuzuco collab brings the tart and bright flavors of yuzu to matcha, this was so refreshing on a hot day 🍋🍵

The Lawarenceville location was also closed for the longest time and celebrated their re-opening this past Sunday, I was able to stop by and the store was filled of energy. THete was a DJ, calligraphy, and @justin._.bakes was there as well with his bakes! This is also my first time at the Lawrenceville location, it’s a smaller cafe compared to the Princeton location but you also get to see the matcha be grounded in house.

The yuzu sweets were all so good but my favorite was the yuzu cookie - separate post to come soon! I have too many pics 😂 The yuzu mochi cake and cookie will be available till end of month, the blueberry yuzu scone was this past Sunday only 🥹

I don’t think I’ve had northeastern Chinese food in NY before so this was a very interesting meal, some familiar dishes that I’ve had before and some that I’ve never had before.

The noodle salad and the sweet & sour pork really stood out to me. It was also like 100 degrees that day so that noodle salad really opened up my appetite and was so refreshing! The sweet & sour pork was made very different than what I’m used to, I’ve had it where it is a thicker batter and just very heavy tasting. This one was a much lighter version and almost a candied exterior.

Some other dishes that I had: truffle fried rice, string beans, and skewers. Fried rice and string beans were solid - always need a carb and a veggie to balance things out. Skewers were not my favorite but I think this is a spot you’d come more for the large family style dishes

NYC has been sooo hot this summer and these drinks saved me when it was almost 100 degrees out ( this was last month when it was super hot)

@sweetea_nyc is a small tea shop so it is easy to miss if you’re just walking by but they have the most refreshing guava drink ever! The hint of lime + lemon really brightens the guava and there is a floral fragrance that comes with it. The handmade mochi is very good although I would pick a different mochi drink as the mango mochi pop was a bit sweet for me ( maybe the taro mochi cheese foam next time??)

Also the guava drink is low in calories if you do half sugar 🙂

I love love @levainbakery ‘s oatmeal raisin cookie and I love carrot cake so I had to try their new spring cookie 🥕🍪

I do like the carrot cake over the chocolate chip but the oatmeal is still my favorite ❤️ I think the carrot cake cookie would taste more like carrot cake if there’s more carrots to bring out that flavor but I guess for those who aren’t crazy about carrot cake, this might work for them

Next time, I’m getting 3 oatmeal cookies 😂

Wonton noodles are my biggest comfort food ever and I’m so glad I don’t need to trek to NY ( or HK 😆) to have it. Pair it with the chili oil and it’s the best thing ever!

It’s also very very filling so come hungry!!
My perfect combo is wonton + fish paste + beef brisket + dumplings 🥟 We had both the egg noodle and flat rice noodle but I’m usually a flat rice noodle person

Toppings: Wonton, Dumplings, Sliced Beef, Beef Brisket, Dace Fish Ball, Pork Knuckle, Shredded Pork Tomato Sauce

They’re located right by Hmart in Edison with their own parking and on a block with other HK cafes / restaurants so it is perfect for a food crawl
