24th!!Life has been a rollercoaster! The past year of my life was indeed an eventful one. 23 was definitely a learning year for me. I have developed a greater appreciation for life and how much it needs to be celebrated.As I started my career in healthcare, I realized how delicate and precious the gift of life is. I have witnessed the beginning and end of life in one place. These experiences I can never put into words.So, for my birthday, I want to celebrate another year of my life by sharing my fundraiser. I would want to shine light on the topic of cancer. With my experience, I have seen how cruel and difficult it is to be battling cancer. It is something that I would never wish upon anyone. Sadly, this is not completely under our control. However, there is hope. Through the years, medicine and healthcare has immensely developed in the field of cancer. We have access to treatment options now that people in the past did not. Still, there is more research and learning that we can do. So, I humbly ask for all of your support for my cause. I have been planning this fundraiser for a while and I decided that I will be sharing this today. I would like to celebrate my birthday by celebrating the lives of others as well. My fundraiser is affiliated with the National Foundation for Cancer Research (website below). This fundraiser is under Arts4TheCure, with my original goal of raising funds through dancing (more information soon). For now, I am seeking for donations of any amount.
