Good old times. It’s Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋节)🌕in two days, it reminds of the moon cakes I made in 2020. they are gluten-free and soft. The yellow filling has eggy and creamy flavour, my favourite. Now I am craving for them.😋🥮🎑 by @xin.flow

For my birthday this year, the best gift you could give me is support for a cause close to my heart: research into ME/CFS (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

Millions live with this debilitating, severely underfunded illness, and biomedical research is urgently needed to find effective treatments and biomarkers.

If you are able, please consider donating through the link below. Even a small contribution helps bring us closer to answers. Thank you so much for your support!

My first embroidery piece. 🪡 I have finally finished it, had a lot of frustration and pain, made many mistakes. But I am glad I have done this. Thanks @astitchinti_m.e for inviting me to the (#ForgetM.E.NotQuilt)project.💙

This piece captures the invisible reality of living with M.E. The crushing physical weight that pins you down like an elephant, on the bed while holding tightly to a single spoon, representing the precious, limited energy left just to exist. by @xin.flow

Love this picture 😍👶—a cute baby hand grabbing the joystick of my wheelchair.
I took this photo while I was parked next to his stroller, waiting while the others went down to explore the beach. Because there’s a barrier zone between us that we can’t cross.
The baby and I were in the same boat — both fragile and facing our limitations.
The Nordsee trip wasn’t easy for either of us. He was dealing with tummy pain, managing only a few active hours each day, with the rest spent eating, sleeping, and resting, just like me. The only difference was that he cried out loud, while my pain (not only tummy pain but widespread pain) stayed completely silent and unseen. And I would quietly retreat to bed on my own.
Still, I truly cherished every moment spent with my family, the little one, and his wonderful parents. ❤️ by @xin.flow

My son wanted to play board games with me, so I tried. Sadly, after setting up the game I was already drained - feeling sick, nausea, headache, muscle aches, brain fatigue etc. „I am sorry I cannot play with you“ 😟 He was very disappointed and mad at me.
Dad explained my “broken battery “🪫 to him again, but it's still hard for the child to comprehend.

Made myself a bucket hat with openwork on top for the incoming summer, it the most comfortable hat I ever wore so far. It breathable and doesn’t press on my head.

I was struggling with the colour matching at the beginning (I need more colours!), but the result is very satisfying.

P.S: did you see the moonwalk?😺

Recording how far I can walk and keep my balance without aid. I am not sure what this is, maybe some sort of neuroimmune disorder on top of ME and POTS? by @xin.flow

Sloth’s Dream - this sloth-cat hybrid might look strange to you, or you might find it funny, or it might speak for you.
For me, it represents that constant internal tug-of-war—the mind and spirit of a cat that wants to spring forward, housed in a body that often feels like it’s moving through honey. 🦥😸✨💊💉

I created an experimental video in English using what Sibylle @sibylle_on_the_other_side talked about(German).
A massive Thank you to Sibylle , who despite being severely ill herself, continues to fiercely advocate for the ME/CFS community and speak the hard truths we need to hear. 🙏
In her recent message, she highlights devastating realities about the current political and medical landscape:
🚨 Systemic Abandonment: Patients who develop ME/CFS from non-infectious triggers (or a mix of triggers) are being completely "thrown overboard" by the system.
🚨 Decades of Medical Gaslighting: The healthcare system and authorities have systematically ignored, psychologised, and trivialised these illnesses for decades.
🚨 Fatal Neglect: The total lack of care and support has pushed patients to extreme despair, with many—including her own friends—tragically driven to suicide or assisted suicide.
🚨 The Need for Loud Advocacy: Passive politics, like waiting for the results of empty "round tables," are failing. As Sibylle says, we need patient organizations that speak up loudly, rather than staying quiet and compliant.
🚨 Flawed Solutions: Proposed treatments often carry severe warnings, remain totally inaccessible for pre-pandemic patients, and fail to address physical structural issues like cervical instability.
