My little shop is turning 10 in a few short months. I’m very fortunate to be able to say that. Many pet stores can’t.

Thanks to private equity gobbling up everything from vet clinics to pet supply distributors, the costs associated with having a pet are ever increasing. Supporting small, independent businesses is how you keep your local economy alive, and it’s one of the few things we can actually do about it.

We are the people who spend the money we earn in our community back into our community.

I went to an all girl’s catholic highschool (despite not being catholic) ⁣
In my graduation yearbook the quote I gave was “Madonna is god”⁣
Why they printed it, I will never know…⁣
Well, last night, at Madison Square Garden, god blew me a kiss. ⁣

Spent last week up north. Managed a few little gravel rides and commuted into town with my friends for food, ice cream, and believe it or not, clothes. #fdf taken in Fenelon Falls by @xineto

Car people want cyclists on “secondary roads” when they can’t even keep us safe on the sidewalk. I’m so sick of this. taken in Toronto, Ontario by @xineto

Doug Ford is the scourge of Ontario. Closing safe consumption sites has only had a negative impact on everyone. Especially those who relied on them. This issue doesn’t start in your local park, it starts when people fall through the cracks. Instead of filling the cracks, he’s building jails. Contracts for his buddies and places who toss people who never stood a chance.
(This city cannot handle a Ford supporter at the helm. Please use your brain this October.)
