This danmei was quite a ride! It started out very strong but fell a bit flat in the middle for me. I ended up putting it on pause and reading some chapters here and there. It was only a few days ago when I finally became more interested in it and ended up reading it all the way to the end. And I'm so glad that I did! The end was as good as the start.

The story is very interesting and it kept me guessing and in doubt till the very end. I kept on going back and forth on whether Li Yuze was poisoned with a love gu or not, and ngl the truth reveal in the extras was so surprising!

The relationship between the MC and ML is not perfect and it started off quite badly. But honestly, after reaching the end of their journey, I don't really have much to say about their relationship and I rather like them together. I just wish happiness for them and I was also very happy reading their sweet moments together 🥹❤️

One thing that I'm really glad about is that all the characters got a HE! I was so scared that some of them would end up dead or not get a happily ever after and I was super relieved to have been wrong.

I was also worried that the author wouldn't show us Ah Song and Wen Lingyu meeting in the end, but thankfully they did. Though I still wish we got one more extra where we could see Ah Song getting more better and them being happy together...🥹. But I'll take what I get and am still happy that the author at least gave us something.

Similarly, I'm really happy that Lulu and Xu Zhirong get better in the end and even get married 😭❤️. They truly deserve that!

All in all, this ended up being a good read and I'm glad that I read it! I've long been fascinated by the Miao culture and its people, and this is the first danmei where I finally got to read about a Miao MC, so it was definitely a very memorable read and I had a lot of fun on this journey 🥹💓

This book was such a delightful read! Not only is it cute, but it also made me feel so many emotions 🥹💘. The MCs are so pure and adorable, I just wanna hug them both! They deserve the world ❤️. And not only them—Greg's brother and his bf were also super amazing! I love them all!

Oh, and this is the first book I've read that featured a character with Synesthesia. As someone who has always been fascinated by it, reading about it was really interesting!

They switch! I love switch couples, so it's no surprise that I loved this book as well! 😂 But no kidding, it really was very good and hot 🔥

You can't help but love the dynamic between the MCs and how, even after becoming a couple, they remain rivals who are always fighting for that 1st place! Truly a fun read 😙

I love Ilya and Shane, but given how popular this book is, I expected to like it a lot more than I actually did. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either.

It had way too much smut 😭 and it's not that I mind smut, but I felt like more than half of it was just smut, and the other half was a generic MM hockey romance plot. Nothing unexpected or surprising that would explain why it's considered one of the best in the genre yk?

I've read many YA books before, but none quite like this one! Tho I read this book while taking many breaks, like just reading some chapters here and there, I still really enjoyed it! It was a different but good read ❤️

I usually hate this trope of an alpha becoming an omega in an AxA relationship. It feels like a betrayal 😂, because let's be honest, is by @xinyireads

This is definitely one of the best danmei I've ever read! The plot is so freaking good, it kept me engaged till the very end! And omg, all the history and dynasty talks were so so interesting and fun to read! I absolutely LOVED this danmei!

It's such a memorable and amazing read, and I am so glad that I read it! Definitely worth reading ❤️. Give it a chance!

I absolutely LOVED this danmei. It's so freaking good and it made me feel so so many emotions! I cried a lot of times while reading it and I feel really happy to have come across this gem 🥹❤️

I love everything about this danmei except one thing, i.e., why didn't we get an extra where the MC takes the ML and meets his brother and his family?! 😭💔 Like where is my big happy family reunion?!! I was sooooooooo disappointed when the 3 extras ended and I didn't see this happening!

This is one point that really breaks my heart, but aside from it, I'm very satisfied with everything else. I'm also very happy that the author showed mercy and didn't kill the MC's brother in the story 🥹. I wouldn't have been able to cope with his death tbh 😭❤️ so I'm very much happy that we didn't have to see that.

Lastly, the side couple (Mr. Shi and the lady) are so cute and funny! I really liked their dynamic and was happy to see their HE as well 😁❤️

So yeah, this was a great read and I really enjoyed it! Pls give it a try!!! It's truly worth reading ＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／💖

Read it a while ago and I really enjoyed it! It was a very good read ❤️. Honestly, I hadn't planned on reading the second book, but later I found out that they have a cute baby together, and so for that, I ended up reading the 2nd one as well. But it didn't have the baby! 😭 And some things in it really pissed me off and frustrated me as well!

So yeah, the 2nd one wasn't that great of a read, but well, the mystery behind the vanishing gets explained in it, so that was nice.

Anyway, rn I went on Goodreads and checked and actually, the author has written a novella for them and their baby, so I will be reading that! Idk when, but I really plan on reading it 😂. Not only because of the baby, but also because it's a novella. I'm so glad it's not a full-on novel tbh, I really wouldn’t have had any motivation to read that.

Oh and actually, this is a trilogy. So there's a 3rd book too. But that one follows a side couple, and though Nino and Haruka appear in it and have quite a few scenes as well (from what the reviews say), I am just not interested in reading about this side couple, so I'll pass on that one.

This book is fucking FANTASTIC! My mind has been blown away by this masterpiece and I want allllll my followers to give it a try! It's so fucking good omg, like I feel speechless but at the same time have so much to say about it!

Firstly, I was shocked when I read the author's acknowledgment and found out this is her debut novel! I was so surprised and still am, because it is so well written that I definitely thought the author had already published other works before this and had been writing for a long time!

This is the best book I've read so far in 2026 and honestly, I think it will end up being my favorite book of this year! This author quickly became my favorite after reading this book and I'm very excited about her future MM books 🤩

This story made me cry so many times 😭 and it also made me deeply fall in love with the characters, Augustus, Auden, and Nathaniel 🥹💖. They're my babies and I love them so so much. The way the story unfolds and you get to know about them all is just 💘🤌🏻. Nathaniel is so gentle and careful with Augustus 😭💓 like you can't help but fall in love with him! He's one of the best ML I've ever read frfr. And Augustus deserves him, he truly does. Nathaniel is not only his salvation but also his reward for all his struggles. And Auden! This character is one that I'm sure I'll never forget! He's such a sweetheart!

The book has a well-deserved HE and it felt so fulfilling finally reaching the end 🥹. Though I wish I could transmigrate inside this novel and hug and care for Augustus myself 😭! He deserves the world, and his past and what he goes through really broke my heart 💔. I also have some serious beef with some other characters in this book and would like to fuck them up bad 🤣, so that's also why I really wanna transmigrate into this.

I am trying to not give spoilers because I really wish for everyone who sees my post to give this book a try ❤️. You won't regret it! This is the only book I've given 6 ⭐ so far and it was so well deserved.

I absolutely adore Vaughn and Yulian! I'm so in love with their personalities, their chemistry, their looks 😂, and basically everything about them! I really love the LOG universe and all the MM couples in it. They're all so precious, and I truly love them soooo much 😭💖. Nikobran, Kayden & Gareth, Vaughn & Yulian — they are all my darlings and have left such a strong impression on me!

I especially love how both Vaughn and Yulian are Bratva heirs who are equally powerful and in the same league! Them being a switch couple was so freaking right and hot 🥵. It was just mind-blowing!

I really enjoyed reading their book! Though I do feel that the writing of HTV was a little sloppy as compared to GOF. This is one thing that really pissed me off and disappointed me, especially cause I really love everything else.
