Navigate Deep mud. Ruts. Rocks. Suspension fighting for grip. Dense forests. Summer and Winter. Extreme trails. Then Ski or Mountain Board, Wingsuit or Paraglide...
And it's running in Three.js.

The Uncanny Valley is the creepy feeling you get when something looks almost human, but not quite. Your brain expects normal human features, expressions, and movement, then detects subtle errors—wrong eyes, stiff motion, odd timing—which creates a strong “something is off” reaction. Like a ancient giant bird feining human distress sounds for help, luring in humans

Napoleon at Notre-Dame on December 2, 1804, said:
“I swear to maintain the integrity of the territory of the Republic; to respect and enforce respect for the Concordat and freedom of religion, equality of rights, political and civil liberty, and the irrevocability of the sale of national lands; not to raise any tax except in virtue of the law; to maintain the institution of the Legion of Honour; and to govern in the sole interest, happiness, and glory of the French people.”
He concluded as “Napoleon, Emperor by the grace of God and the Constitution.” by @xirtus

Remember that old viral line: “If Bill Gates got AIDS, they’d cure it within a year”?

What if that wasn’t a joke, but an Epstein operation?

Theory: Jeffrey Epstein deliberately maneuvered Bill Gates into an HIV scare/exposure, knowing that the only way to make the richest people on Earth seriously fund a cure was to make the problem personal. Gates then pours money into vaccines, virology, global health infrastructure, pandemic preparedness, etc.

Fast-forward through two decades of billionaire philanthropy, biotech, WHO funding, vaccine research and simulation exercises, and somehow the road ends at COVID-19.

I got the weirdest feeling that the original “Bill Gates gets AIDS = instant cure” meme wasn’t commentary on wealth. It was the pitch. by @xirtus

A lot of us, looked to Anthony Fauci during the worst of the pandemic because we wanted competent, science-driven leadership. That instinct was understandable. But treating him as an unalloyed hero requires overlooking a series of decisions and statements that caused real harm and deaths, eroding trust in the very institutions he represented.

In the mid-1980s Fauci, as head of NIAID, oversaw a rigid, slow clinical-trial system that kept experimental AIDS drugs locked behind multi-year protocols while thousands died. Activists (ACT UP, Larry Kramer) correctly called this out as deadly bureaucracy; Kramer publicly labeled him a murderer. Fauci absorbed the heat, resisted faster access at first, and only shifted toward parallel-track and accelerated approval after sustained protest. That early inflexibility delayed treatments that could have saved lives.

Start with the early messaging. In early 2020 he publicly downplayed the value of masks for the general public, then later said the initial guidance was partly about protecting supply for health workers. That may have been pragmatic in the moment, but it trained people to treat official guidance as provisional theater rather than clear evidence. Once the science shifted, the earlier statements were rarely owned with the same volume.
More consequential was the treatment of the lab-leak hypothesis. For a long time it was labeled a conspiracy theory in official channels even as emails and later reporting showed senior scientists, including some who had advised Fauci, privately took the possibility seriously. The NIAID’s relationship to EcoHealth Alliance and gain-of-function work at the Wuhan Institute of Virology created an obvious conflict: an agency that had funded related research had strong incentives not to give the lab-origin idea oxygen. That is not the same as proving a lab origin, but it is a textbook case of institutional self-protection over transparent inquiry.
Policy choices carried costs that were not evenly distributed. Prolonged school closures, especially after vaccines became available for adults and the risk profile for children was clearer, produced measurable learning losses and mental-health by @xirtus
