I am incredibly grateful to have made it this far. Graduating with my high school diploma, an Associate of Arts degree, National Honor Society cords, Summa Cum Laude cords, an English High Achievement Award, and a Senior Scholar plaque is something I never would've imagined for myself. None of this would have been possible without the love and support of my friends and family, who stood by me through every challenge and accomplishment along the way. If you had told 13-year-old me everything I would achieve, that I would eventually step out of my shell, learn how to use my voice, and become more outgoing and confident, I never would have believed you. There was a time when I genuinely didn’t think I would make it this far, which makes this moment feel even more meaningful to me. I’m so thankful that I stayed, because doing so allowed me to meet the incredible people I now call my friends, build unforgettable memories, and create so many meaningful connections. Looking back, I’m proud not only of my accomplishments, but also of the person I’ve become throughout this journey. I’m grateful to still be here, and I’m excited to continue growing, learning how to fully be myself, discovering my identity, and figuring out who I want to become as I move into this next chapter of life. This isn't the end, it's just the beginning.
