Posture.

Went pretty basic this week, trying not to overdo the figure and let the posture speak for itself. Whether the symbiosis of the figure both defending itself with one hand and almost choking itself with another reads well or not, I've reached the goal I aimed at.

Airplane.

I swear, this is starting to feel like legit gambling. We definitely lost last week and had to make it back into the game. Feels like this piece turned out to be a good redemption.

Critter.

Kept the heat going with the second ever #inktober52 prompt to be done by me. I guess I kinda like this way of releasing the inner tension through artistic process. Though, I don't promise to continue doing it every week)

18. Flightless

Aren't we all scarred in a similar way? Is there anyone who doesn't want to take off and fly free..?

Another small plot arc has emerged on its own during this Inktober. We've talked about demons; now I've had a few visual scenes revolving around mechanism and machinery.

17. Contraption

The Ship of Theseus, isn't it? At what point do we become functions rather than humans?

16. Gangly

A surprisingly difficult prompt. I decided to lean more into the “elongated” direction so as not to distort the body too much, though the theme is now only somewhat miraculously traceable.

15. Hooray

Is yourself enough of a prize to celebrate?

Hooray, my dear #inktober2026 colleagues, we've made it through the first half of it!

14. Lady

One can probably tell that I don't usually draw women, so this prompt was a special challenge for me.

The reason is pretty simple: no matter how ragged, rough, or disproportionate a male body is drawn, it can still remain interesting in an artistic way. A female body, on the other hand, seems much less forgiving of even the slightest mistake. It requires more precision, greater delicacy of line, and more careful consideration of the silhouette.

So, to incorporate a female body into my own visual language, I decided to loosen some of the rigidity and make the composition more figurative rather than solid.

Whether this attempt is a success or a failure is for you to decide.

13. Flimsy

More frail than flimsy, perhaps, with just a hint of a dandelion, subtle enough to make it truly flimsy, though the deeper meaning is always there.

Toss something and let the future decide whether coincidence will do the rest and a different layer to your story.

11. Rescue

Thank God I prepared some of these descriptions in advance, otherwise after being featured today this one would probably have turned into a complete mess of thoughts and thank-yous.

But I guess today is a day for questions, not answers. What could be that one rescue from the dark? And should one really be looking for it?
