Every marathon year, I've had the kiddos wear my medal and then take a photo of them. This year, we took a group photo with 2026 medals 😊 by @xlinz21

Officially, a Chicago Marathon Legacy 🥳

This dream started in 2019, when I thought it'd be cool to run 26.2 miles for my 26th birthday. I applied through the lottery and got in on my first try for 2020! The challenge of "one and done" began because I hated running and had never run anything past a 5k, haha.
Unfortunately, 2020 got canceled, so I ran my first marathon in 2021.
Right after, I was so excited and wanted to do it again. I didn't get in for 2022, but I got in through the lottery again for 2023!
2023 was when the Distance Series began, and I have been so fortunate to run 2024, 2025, and 2026 under the series 🥹

7 years later, and this girl is ready for a little break from marathon training 😅
I am so excited to cheer for all the friends I have made through @vientolvrc in 2027!

Swipe through the photos to see where it all started ❤️

The Chicago Marathon is a World Major Marathon (out of 7), so I'm lucky to have it right in my backyard!

Colorado will always have my heart 🧡
I almost moved there a couple years back!

I took the Amtrak to the state for the first time ever, and I loved the experience. I spent so much time talking to others during the trip. 10/10 recommend. 18-19 hr trip.

Photo 5: Marathon training continued
Photo 8: Enjoy the 18" pizza, haha.

Back in the lab with a fun choreo by none other than Janeeva! I hope to see her back in Chicago in the future!

I continue to be amazed at how our bodies move to create our own art. Everyone interprets dance differently, and I loveeee to see it! Shoutout to the ladies in this video 🫶🫶

Hey hey!
My name is Evelin (Eh-Veh-Leen) 😎
I'm a Gemini/Cancer (I'm in the cusp, haha)
I have been with the Divas for one season and loving it!
I'm excited about digging back into my passion for dance with this new style of dance--heels dancing! I had stopped dancing for about 10 years!
A little fun fact about me is that I run marathons and will also be completing my first triathlon in a couple of weeks :)

Thanks to JDiva for the opportunity to join the team and find growth ❤️

I couldn't gatekeep this one any longer 🤭

Took this choreo class twice, and I'm so happy I did! I was able to improve my technique from the first class, which was a huge progress!!
