helloooo new music out 🪘 these tracks are the result of a change in attitude and workflow towards my production habits, aiming for a more selective and minimal approach to writing: let’s stop the overthinking producer mentality 😁 head over to my Bandcamp or the other streaming platforms to check it out! by @xlregular

new music out as we celebrate the release of Fabriclive Selects VIII today! happy to have my track Magneto Agent on it 🧲 i mean it when i write celebrate, as i think this compilation is a celebration of broken beat history and culture. being a part of this feels special, same compilation together with the pioneers & originators alongside some of the best new school kids around!! thanks for the trust @freyawinona @fabricliveofficial @fabric_records some reasons why i love broken beat and how i got into it in the next slides! the magneto force!!! 🧲🧲🧲 from the documentary “Broken Vibes: The Secret Story of Magneto” released in 2008. this is how i discovered broken beat (Co-Op boiler room) i remember it shook my brain cells first time i heard/saw this DKD - Future Rage do i even have to write something about this? from Fabriclive 12 - Bugz in the Attic (2003) Artwork aka Grain - broken beat & techno, everything’s connected in music grab the record on bandcamp or fabric’s website!! by @xlregular

Mark Force ft. Afronaut – Carnival (Afroforce Vox Dub) is out now. The first single from FABRICLIVE SELECTS VIII, bringing together pioneering artists from London’s broken beat and bruk scene with a new generation of artists pushing the sound forward. ‘Carnival’ sees former Bugz in the Attic members and key figures in the CoOp movement Mark Force and Afronaut reunite, with original vocals recorded in Puerto Rico. The full compilation is now available to pre-order, bringing together 10 tracks that move between rediscovered recordings, previously unreleased material and new productions, tracing the evolution of broken beat while looking firmly ahead. The compilation is accompanied by a strictly limited run of 100 white-label 12-inch vinyl samplers, featuring five tracks from the project. Full release 28 August via FABRICLIVE. And what’s the first part of your body that starts moving when a track drops? See you Sunday at @het_bos by @xlregular
