I want to start by thanking the most important person in my life. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The doctors said I wasn’t supposed to live but you said watch this and here I am 18 years later. I would not be alive today if it was not for Jesus. You gave me life and my life is yours to use. Thank you for everyone who came out to my graduation party. Thank you to my church family for setting this up for me. Thank you to @lighthouse.christianschool for the first 15 years of my education and for never giving up on me. Through the ups and downs, the good and the bad, Lighthouse was my home away from home. I will forever be Lighthouse Christian Lion. I want to give a special shoutout to every coach who ever put up with me. Thank you to every coach for shaping me into the man I am today. From drama to baseball to football to track to bowling and even to basketball thank you. Thank you to my biggest cheerleaders my mom and dad. Every game and practice you could go to you were there. Thank you to the amazing woman I got to have as my lunch lady and my sister-in-law @ladyhmaul89. Heather you changed my life forever in ways you don’t even know. This next step in my journey is going to be an amazing one. My plan was Boise Bible College but the Lord had other plans. Yesterday I thought that we were done. I thought there was no way that we’d be able to make it when I saw MaxPreps ratings. Never underestimate God. He works in miraculous ways!! We’re onto Regionals. PRAISE JESUS!!! by @xmauldin0678

I can’t believe that my high school baseball career is over. It has been a wild ride of ups and downs but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I would like to start by saying thank you to Coach Woody. You told me something at my first ever practice I’ll never forget. “You can’t let fear control you.” I didn’t realize that when you told me that what it truly means but four years later I finally get it. To Garrett thank you for always being my friend, even at times when we were growing apart, we grew closer these last four years. Thank you also for being the first ever two that were a part of the baseball program for all four years of high school with me. To Coach Boyd thank you for teaching how to laugh at myself. Thank you to my parents for always being there for me, reminding me it’s just a game, and for bringing waters to every game from freshman year to senior year. To all my other teammates thank you for all of the good times and the bad. We might’ve just barely missed regionals but I wouldn’t have traded this season for anything. Lighthouse Baseball it has been an honor. To think I went from a kid who just wanted to be there to getting my first hit off a pitcher last year. This journey has been one I’ll never forget. I can’t believe how fast the time has flew. From Pre-K to Senior year it has been a wild ride. Lighthouse Christian has always been there for me. I want to say thank you to everyone who has pored into my life. Senior year might not be done just yet but it’s close. The ups and downs the ins and outs it has shaped me into the person I am today. I want to thank every coach, teacher, administrator, and friend who has ever put up with my sass and my bad days but still stuck by me. God has blessed me with the two most amazing parents a boy could ask for. My parents sacrificed so much to put me through Christian school and I will always be grateful. I just had my last first football practice of the season left for the rest of my life. I can’t believe I’m saying that. I have played for seven years and each year I’ve had my ups and downs but I wouldn’t be the man I am today without every drop of sweat. Seven years, six positions, two numbers, one school.
