In a world where you can be anything, be kind. You never know how a smile or a simple comment can change someone's day. 💗
Similarly, think before you speak; you never know how much even a small remark or what you consider "advice" could impact someone's confidence or mental health. 💔

So we decided to stop and look around on our walk home after dropping K off to school this morning. U decided he wanted to touch the leaves on this tree, and we spotted (no pun intended) some ladybirds! Anyone know what the difference is between red and black ones? We were always told as kids that the black ones are poisonous (any truth to that at all?) and any idea what the different dots/patterns mean? Final photo is of one getting ready to take flight (not the clearest of pics)
I've been so consumed with my own emotions and thoughts lately, I've forgotten to appreciate the little things around me.
I'm gonna miss these little walks with U once he starts school in September 😞
Alhamdulillah for everything 💗

Shoutout to @herblankcanvas

This old memory resurfaced, and it's a thought that often stays with me. As life goes on, the 'what ifs' linger. Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli haal

As Ramadan's last ten nights approach, let's make duaa for our friends - the ones we have now, the ones who've been with us through the years, and those we've lost touch with.

We might talk often, or just through memes and reels (you know who you are 😂), or maybe we don't talk anymore, but you're always in my duaas ❤️

In the midst of life's chaos, it's easy to forget that He's always with you. But He's the one constant in an ever-changing world, and He'll never leave you to face your struggles alone 💔 #Allah #reminder #tawakkul by @xmonaxb

Ten years 😅😅😂😂
Ten years of practicing on and off. Ten years of starting and giving up.
What started as a way to pass time (before I had kids) is now my way of taking time out for myself and doing something which drives me crazy at times, but I also enjoy.
Crochet isn't something that's come easy to me (reading patterns is another story in itself lol), but this is a reminder to myself that it's never too late, you're never too old to learn something new, and that patience and practice makes perfect (or imperfect in my case - I'm still working on my sewing/stitching skills 😅)
Never in a million years did I think I could ever crochet a dinosaur! But I did it!

‘Umar said:

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘If you were to rely upon Allah with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening.”
