📖✨ hi book friends! ✨📖

I figured it was finally time to introduce myself properly!
I’m Mili, a 22yr old book lover who is probably way too emotionally attached to fictional characters. 🤭📚
You’ll mostly find me reading fantasy, romance or romantasy

A few things about me:
📚 I have an ever growing TBR that I will absolutely never finish
💸 I have absolutely no self control when it comes to buying books
🧚🏻‍♀️ Fantasy is my comfort genre
❤️ my all time favourite book is Alchemised
☕️ I could spend hours reading and talking about books
🐈‍⬛ My reading buddy is usually my fur baby Nixi

I’m so excited to meet more bookish people, discover new favourites and share my reading journey with you all! 🥹💕

Tell me something about you or your current read in the comments! 👇🏻📖

For romance readers who love dark romantic fantasy with morally grey characters, enemies to lovers and fated mates. BALLAD OF THE BROKEN, Book 2 of Crowns of Gods and Monsters by Nakita Kirwan (@nakita.writes.romantasy) is looking for ARC Readers!

🗡️ “Drive the blade between my ribs, sunshine, I’ll thank you for letting me be close enough to bleed for you.”

📖 The mortals are freezing. The Fae are being hunted. The Hells are burning.

All because the Throne of Gods is broken.

But the price to mend it will shatter Lyra’s heart…

Dragged into the Seven Hells, Lyra is forced to marry the fallen god who betrayed her. Yet Riven is no ordinary captor, and in the Hells, nothing is as it seems.

Bound to a past Lyra cannot remember, she will do anything to find a cure for the curse consuming Rythos—even if it means marrying her enemy. But the deeper she falls into the Hells, the more she realises her connection to Riven threatens far more than her heart.

Above the Hells, the Commander of Death is running out of time. The bond torments him, forcing him to feel Lyra falling for another while the curse rots him from within.

Determined to hold Lyra one last time before he dies, he sails the Dead Sea in search of the only woman he has ever loved.

But when Lyra uncovers the monstrous truth behind the broken Throne and the Commander’s curse, she realises only one sacrifice can stop the kingdoms from collapsing forever…

Caught between the monster made to kill her and the god who refuses to let her go, Lyra must decide between saving the Kingdoms, or her heart.

Because the throne demands more than blood.

It demands heartbreak.

Go pick up this book!! Seriously this book was EVERYTHING I want from a gothic romantasy!! I gave it a 4.5 ⭐️rating and here’s why... The atmosphere had me completely hooked!! haunted castles, nightmares, mysterious curses and a dream world that felt eerie and beautiful at the same time. I absolutely loved Euphemia as a protagonist. Her journey through grief, fear and learning to embrace the parts of herself she’d been taught to fear was one of my favourite parts of the story. And Dagfinn… 🫠 Where can I find a man like him because he is yummy 🤭the Norse-inspired mythology was such a fun addition, and I loved how the story balanced romance with darker themes like grief, healing, faith and guilt. It gave the book more emotional depth than I was expecting even though I struggled with pronouncing the names a bit 🥲 There were definitely moments where there was a LOT happening at once, and I occasionally felt like I was trying to keep track of everything, but the atmosphere and characters kept me invested. It also doesn’t help that I read this in the middle of one of the biggest reading slumps of my life. If you love gothic romantasy, haunted castles, cursed men, dreamwalking and. slow-burn romance add this to your TBR immediately. Definitely one for anyone who wants their romantasy a little darker, stranger and more atmospheric!! by @xmooreads

✨ the prettiest edition of my favourite book ✨

Still completely obsessed with Alchemised 🖤 This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster, consumed my every thought, and left me with the WORST book hangover… It still lives in my head rent free months after finishing it so when I came across a listing on eBay for this edition I just had to snatch it up and I’m so happy I did! ✨

This is now my most prized possession and you best believe she has a whole shelf to herself ✨🩷
