🥹 let me cry a bit first

Yes, the series “Hit!” strike another gold! 🏅
I can’t believe this series I developed in @womp3d last year was getting this much attention, I won 3 international awards! (again, let me cry a bit, you gonna see my crying face at the last slide.)

I was having a bad day yesterday, feeling stressed about no inquiry coming yet and a booking got cancelled, so everything felt a bit in the limbo. And then I woke up to this great news! I’ll keep the boost and keep pushing then! Forwards and onwards. 💪🍄😭

Thanks again for @3x3mag awarded me this gold and thanks to all of the juries and congratulations to all the winners!

This Mushroom is on a winning streak 🍄🏆

Pleased to share that 4 pieces from my Hit! series have been selected for the American Illustration 45 annual hardcover award book.

Hit! is a playful series of 3D illustrations capturing impactful sports moments through bold colours and extreme angles.

Out of 6,387 entries, only 432 images were selected by jury majority vote to represent some of the best images of 2025 — truly honoured to be included among them.

Big congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to the jurors and the team at @american_illustration_winners

@uksavingsweek invited me to make a series of animations and illustrations for this year’s awareness campaign, ‘Save Your Way Today,’ targeting UK-based young working people to promote the benefits of saving.

Since the main concept of the campaign is “Save your way today, thank yourself …”, we landed on a format where each character puts a coin into their “dream jar”, then imagines how their savings could help them live their dream in a fun and unexpected way.

Animations by the amazing @pellisser.tv

The UK savings week is happening! Get tips from @uksavingsweek ‘s posts and website :D

“Can you just share a quick sample?” Sounds harmless, right?

But for many freelancers, that one line sits right on the edge between opportunity and unpaid work.

In our latest feature in Issue 71, illustrator Liangliang Luo (Mushroom, @xmx.luo) breaks down what pitching really looks like today, especially when working with global clients. From relying on your portfolio to knowing when to say no, she shares a simple but powerful reminder: your time and thinking are part of the work.

A must-read for anyone navigating freelance boundaries in a fast-moving creative world, article’s link in the bio.

Last chance to bid on album sleeves over at @secret7s!

The auction wraps up on Wednesday, 2 September. It’s part of a collection of 700 one-of-a-kind sleeves created for seven iconic tracks—all raising essential funds for @warchilduk to support children living through conflict.

Here’s one of my designs for the project. If you’d love to own the physical sleeve artwork (just a heads-up, the vinyl itself isn‘t included), you can find mine by searching for #498! Art work made with @womp3d

Have you ever felt stuck or anxious about what to create next? Or not knowing when the commission or booking is coming? 🫠🫠🫠

I’m feeling it almost every other day 😅. It’s not an easy job to be a freelance illustrator. So I made these to remind myself what I can do if I’m feeling that way again. Hope these could be a bit helpful for you too. ;)

And who wanna give me a hug? :D
And let me know what works best for you actually, I would like to draw it out 🙏

3D built in @womp3d , animated in after effects.

Happy to announce that my 3 posters for @transportforlondon made it to the shortlist in @bibf.official international awards 2026.

Out of 18,286 entries in the professional category, only 182 made the final shortlist.

Thanks again for @phoebelfhazzan and Matt Allen from @wearevccp for having me for the incredible project.

Congrats to all of the winners this year.
