Yesterday was nothing short of amazing, although most of it didn't actually go as planned πŸ˜‚ Thanks to @nekesevents for throwing a whole party just for my birthday! πŸ₯Ή Jokes aside though, thank you for having me! The pardy was bare vibes πŸŽ‰ #ToastAndBrunch Special thanks to my friends who made my day perfect πŸ«ΆπŸ½πŸ’• On another note, I've been begging for a Jimny but I think I need an iPhone 14 Pro max because this picture quality is what I need in my life πŸ₯Ή Until next time - Your Dancing Queen ✨ Hair @diva_doll_hair Outfit @irockposhelle Bag @lavillesb by @xo_zada
It's my Birthday! πŸŽ‚πŸŽ† Life's funny because on this day last year I didn't actually do much for my birthday because I had to attend an all-day workshop held for us as prospective Miss SVG contestants, while thinking to myself that I must be absolutely crazy to do this πŸ˜‚ This time, I'm actually Miss SVG and guys, I intend to have a blast! Here's what I've learned over the years; If you doubt yourself 9 times, bet on yourself 10! Be kind always, even if the world is trying its best to make you harden your heart, don't. I promise all your good karma will come back to you tenfold πŸ€— Never trade your authenticity for approval. Be yourself, you're enough! I promise you that you're enough Learn to understand that sometimes people don't always have bad intentions with their words that might be hurtful, their delivery just needs a little work. Try to decipher their true message behind those words You literally don't have to see the whole staircase to get started, just take the first step Magic happens outside of your comfort zone ✨ People tend to project their insecurities onto others, you gotta learn to let it roll off your back You should never be afraid of being bad at something new Your best is good enough and your best might look like something different each day, just know that you're doing amazing sweetie Most times the problem you create in your head is much worse than the actual reality. Relax Life doesn't always have to be so serious. Take breaks to have fun Not everything that is thrown your way deserves a response It's okay to start from scratch if something isn't working out Just keep going! You might fumble but what's important is that you get back on your zoom and keep trying Go after your dreams, as crazy as they might sound to the next person, they're one of the few things that are truly yours Communicate! Proper effective communication can literally solve so many problems. Talk it out 🫢🏽 "Whatever is to is, will is, it cannot are" πŸ˜‚ - whatever is meant to happen will happen at the right time. No sooner or later #AriesQueen #Aries #birthday by @xo_zada
Happy 47th Independence, SVG! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’š So proud to be a Vincentian, and I wouldn't have it any other way. πŸ‡»πŸ‡¨ Carrying the title of Miss SVG has to be one of the proudest moments of my life. πŸ₯Ή I'm definitely missing home today, but although I'm not there physically, no matter how far away I may be, I'm certainly there in Vincy spirit! ✨ Forever and always, in all ways, your Miss SVG 2024. 🫢🏽😘 #784 #independence47 #vincypride #vincy by @xo_zada
INDELIBLE ✨ On October 5th, 2024 I was crowned as Miss SVG πŸ‘ΈπŸ½ Today marks exactly two years later and I can't help but reflect on the rollercoaster that this journey has been and think about how grateful I am to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labour, albeit while studying for my upcoming midsemesters at UWI MONA! Could you believe it? 😏 PHOENIX πŸ¦β€πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ I coined the official crown Phoenix because that's exactly what becoming Miss SVG 2024 felt like for me. Burning away my past and its struggles, trials and everything else and starting anew. A way to reinvent myself and rewrite my story. A catalyst for the life I've envisioned for myself. Notwithstanding, Phoenix as heavy as she already is, came with the added weight of the expectations of others of constant perfection. She also opened doors for opportunities I would have probably never had otherwise. I've been involved in campaigns, youth development initiatives, community work, on panels, open discussions, traveled halfway across the world and even now long after my reign has ended, I'm still recognized and offered opportunities to represent and work in different capacities and for that? She will forever be that girl, my girl πŸ₯° She's no longer physically with me, but I had to honour her somehow. What better way than to have my final walk gown fashioned in likeness of her deeper meaning? Somehow, Lisa always gets my vision and I LOVE her for that and this way, I'd always have Phoenix with me πŸ₯Ή I don't think that I'll ever be able to truly express just how grateful I am to everyone who tried their best to make this entire journey just a little easier for me. From encouraging words, noticing my struggles and simply being a listening ear, helping me put together outfits and even mentioning my name in rooms so that I can be involved in activities to be seen and heard. Whatever it was though, once again I'm saying thank you! 🫢🏽 PS. I have a little project that I'm working on pageant wise and I can't wait to share it with you all. Stay tuned! - Forever yours, Zada Stephens Miss KCCU, Best Cultural Wear, Best Talent, Best Interview, Miss SVG 2024 ✨ Makeup @color_led Gown @irockposhelle by @xo_zada

Spotted - A Queen backstage at Miss SVG 2026: familiar heels, familiar smile… and just a little bit of nostalgia. πŸ‘‘βœ¨ Turns out some chapters end, but the memories still know how to make an entrance. In 2024, backstage was a little hectic. Especially when I decided to have a panic attack right after my talent performance, hindering my prep for evening wear. Thanks to everyone that helped to ground me in that moment and Yvette, Tomika, Sheridan and Lisa for somehow managing to work around me absolutely freaking out in tears to get me ready to cross the stage again πŸ˜‚πŸ«ΆπŸ½ The contestants and their chaps this year along with the entire backstage team deserve all the respect because it's really all gas and no breaks to put on a good show. Special thanks to @kimmysticclo for whipping something up for me literally before my eyes. You're a gem. 🫢🏽 XOXO πŸ’‹ Hair @princessluxe.hair Beat @color_led Install @splittingimagebeautysalon Accessories @dfashionspot Nails @plumrose_dayspa Toesies @nubian_queen868 by @xo_zada
