hiii everyone 🤍 i wanted to share the meaning behind my song “what’s it feel like.” this is just a demo version and not the official btw. the song is about that moment when you realize you’ve drifted away from God. we get distracted, wander, and try to find fulfillment in temporary things, but eventually realize nothing compares to the peace and love only He can give.

“i’ll never be the same, i’ll never go that way” represents repentance
“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭19‬ ‭NIV‬‬

then the chorus, “tell me what’s it feel like,” is basically a prayer to Jesus. It’s asking Him to help you feel the Holy Spirit again because sometimes, like the prodigal son, we have to realize we’ve wandered before we can come home (Luke 15:17–20).

i wanted to put such a vulnerable message inside an energetic pop song because coming back to God is something to celebrate. 💗

i’m calling this one “child-like faith.” 🤍 @elijacruz_ made a soft acoustic beat, and i couldn’t stop hearing this melody over it. so of course we collaborated and i added vocals/lyrics to this.

it’s about learning to trust God with the kind of faith Jesus talked about.

James 1:2-4 and Romans 5:3-4 remind us that suffering produces perseverance, character, and hope, while Matthew 18:3 and Mark 10:15 call us to receive God’s kingdom with child-like faith.

the chorus also reflects the gospel, that Jesus died for our sins on the cross, giving us new life, a renewed heart and mind and redemption by His grace.

through this song, i wanted the message to simply want a heart that trusts Him like a child.

Summer Camp 2026,

this is it—my last year at camp as a high school student.

Camp will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where my testimony began. Two years ago, I surrendered my life to Jesus, and a year later I was baptized. Looking back, I realize it was never just about the rec games, the cabins, or the food. It was about encountering the presence of God.

At camp, Jesus met me in a way I’ll never forget. He showed me His love, reminded me that I was never alone, and revealed my need for a Savior. He brought healing to places I thought would always be broken and completely changed the way I see my life. Everything started changing because of Him.

God has moved in miraculously different ways through me and the people around me. I’m so grateful to be a part of this church family and with these wonderful girls.

this week, God taught me what bravery looks like. Not bravery without fear, but bravery that chooses to trust Him anyway. Whether it was worshiping with my whole heart, trying something outside my comfort zone, laughing until my stomach hurt, or simply being present with the people around me, He reminded me that every moment can bring Him glory.

the greatest thing I leave with isn’t just memories, it’s the testimony of what Christ has done in my life. God isn’t finished with me yet, He will continue to work throughout my life and I can’t wait to see where He leads me next.

to all the girls in our group, thank you for every laugh, every conversation, every prayer, and every moment we shared together. You all made this week amazing and I’ll never forget it! To the worship band, thank you for leading us in such powerful worship and creating a space where we could encounter the Holy Spirit. And to Evelyse, thank you for pouring into each of us with so much love, patience, and encouragement. Your leadership reflected the love of Christ, and I’m so thankful God placed you in my life !

HEY GUYS!! my new song “Deep Calls to Deep (Psalm 42)” is out !! you can also watch the full video on youtube!!

i really want to take a moment to just say… this song is really personal to me. it came from a place where i felt distant from God, overwhelmed, and honestly just spiritually dry. and i remember taking the time to just reflect on Psalm 42 after church where as i got the idea to make a song about it.

the whole video is based on the image from Psalm 42 of a deer searching for water, and that’s exactly how i’ve felt at times. just searching, trying to find my way back to Him.

but one thing i’ve learned is even when i feel far, God hasn’t moved. He hasn’t forgotten me. God has always been there and He is truly waiting!
