Download ![Who doesn’t want strong, healthy, shiny hair?! we all do 🖐️
But most people think it’s all about the cut and color at a salon, and I’m here to tell you that it’s definitely not. It’s the healthy hair routine in between that makes all the difference!
Routine 1: “how often you wash you hair”
I used to think going longer in between washes is the best option. However, my stylist informed me that the scalp also needs to stay healthy and in order for it to be healthy you have to wash it a few times a week to get rid of dirt, grime, and buildup that is caused by sweat and various hair products.
Routine 2: “quality shampoo/conditioners in shower”
I only use salon quality shampoo/conditioners and rotate between a few options so my hair doesn’t get used to the same product. I rotate between hydrating, volumizing and repairing.

Routine 3: “how often do you apply heat to your hair”
Try to air dry your hair as much as possible up to 80% and only apply heat when needed. During the week, I will even apply a wave or air dry cream and let it naturally dry fully. @bumbleandbumble
Routine 4: “when using heat styling products, be cautious of
the temperature”
My stylist also informed me that water boils at 212°C and if your products are going above that temperature if you have finer hair, it is literally burning and damaging your hair badly. Always apply a heat protectant! @kerastase_official
Routine 5: “ applying a scalp serum and oiling your hair weekly”
Allows for your hair to be soft, shiny and hydrated and also make sure your scalp is healthy as well. Indians have been oiling there hair forever and they do have amazing hair, just saying 😉
