i’ve been writing and re-writing this caption forever because there’s just so much to say about my time here. from endless late-night study sessions, meeting some of my closest friends, to my most random side-quests, my experience at UNT has changed me for the better.

i am here because of my loved ones and the support i received from them, my professors who dared me to care fiercely, and my mentors who motivate me to show up for causes that matter to me.

i wore my mother’s sari to carry my family’s legacy of hope and promise; when she was 22, she was just about to start her own life, unaware about what’s to come next. my family is a testament to perseverance, love, and hard work. many years later, here i am at the fresh age of 22, ready to embark on my next adventure. :’)
