She visited again to reassure him of things he already felt. It was better to have her around, than not have anyone at all.

Day Five: 29th Dec 2023....
*************************************************************

The murda ink flowed again.

Don't ask me what she did to deserve it but I'll tell you either way.

This was supposed to be a perfect romantic night. A romantic night like the ones in the movies, where we get to fall in love over again, whispering sweet nothing to each other and giggling like fresh lovebirds.

But he sent her a message. I saw the phone beep while she was getting the drinks from the fridge. And I read their text messages.

She was two months pregnant for him already, and this was her last night with me before she'd break the news to me - on our anniversary night.

Really, who does that?

Well, since it was going to be our parting night instead of a love renewal, I could as well make it permanent. She was going to be gone anyways.🤷

Day 4 : Dec 27th 2023 - What Happened To Christmas
******************************************************

As much as I am tempted to say "we grew up", I look at the average children around and I know they do not still get to have as much fun as we did as kids.

They are seemingly uninterested and being forced to grow up quickly.

I might just lay the blame at the feet of our society.

Things spiralling downwards, parents struggling to make ends meet, and kids being made to look at the future instead of living in the moments and enjoying being children.

Everyone's making sacrifices; forcefully or willingly.

Day 3: 17/12/23...
*************************************************************

Movie Premiere is everything it says.

I've watched footballers give their best for my favorite club, lose form due to age and injuries over time, and be turned upon by the same fans who once adored them.

I hope when the younger generations are told about them, they are told the parts where they won points and trophies for the team, before they became aged or "fat", and seemingly couldn't do those again.

I hope when we tell the story, we actually tell the whole story.
