My latest Trader Joe’s creation is officially here! Harissa-marinated chicken, zaatar potatoes, and my homemade sauce Dora’s Signature Mediterranean Dill Cream. You need this recipe. 🥘✨This Mediterranean style dinner was a huge hit, earning a solid 8.5/10 from Mario and my nephew Frankie. I marinated chicken thighs in harissa paste and salt for 30 minutes and for my side dish I seasoned the roasted potatoes with turmeric and zaatar for an extra kick. To tone down the heat 🔥, I whipped up a creamy homemade dipping sauce using sour cream as a great substitute for Greek yogurt along with other ingredients like lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic and salt just to name a few. Everything paired perfectly with the hot chicken 🍗 , potatoes 🥔 and steamed rice 🍚. I’m already planning to make the meal again next time to hopefully hit that 10/10 mark. #ad Gifted by @mysmileI have been using this toothpaste for two days straight and honestly, I am liking it so much. It doesn’t have that harsh burning minty feeling and there is zero aftertaste. Part 2: The Facial Experience!I stepped into a total pink paradise at The Only Facial Woodlands. This place is iconic, from the aesthetic to the service! Everyone receives their signature facial, a multi step process that includes brow shaping, vellus hair removal, microdermabrasion, a chemical or enzyme peel, therapeutic massage, high frequency, extractions, LED light therapy, microcurrent, a treatment mask, and hydration with SPF to ensure you leave with that perfect after glow.They even offer facials for teenagers! Cooking is my love language, but this meal hit differently. As my dad gets older and as I get older, I’m really trying to make a conscious effort to make time for us, even if it means I have to go out of my way to go get him to have dinner with me. I know these moments build core memories for both of us, making this a truly special moment shared together that I am going to cherish forever.This was the very first time I’ve ever cooked for my dad, so you already know I had to make sure it was authentic Cuban style food. If you know him, you know that is literally all he ever asks for.I put him to work, too. He was right there with me helping strain the Goya black beans and keeping a close eye on our sweet plátanos maduros while they pan-seared to golden perfection. I handled all the prep for our mojo-marinated chicken, jasmine rice, and fresh salad, but the real star of the show was La Cubanita Magic Seasoning.Honestly, this seasoning was the whole reason behind making this video and cooking this specific meal. The moment I got my hands on this authentic Cuban seasoning, I knew we had to build a proper Cuban dinner around it, and there was absolutely no way I was doing it without having my Cuban Daddy right by my side to share the moment and taste-test along the way. Seeing how proud he was of the final plate made it even better.
