Представьте гримёрную комнату, но не за кулисами, а непосредственно на сцене. В реальном времени. Три актрисы клеят усы и бороды, надевают очки и кепки. Меняется пластика и речь. Маски становятся всесильными и огромными, они множатся и захватывают наше внимание целиком.

Պատկերացրեք գրիմանոց, բայց ոչ թե կուլիսների հետևում, այլ հենց բեմի վրա։ Իրական ժամանակում։ Երեք դերասանուհիներ կեղծ բեղեր ու մորուքներ են սոսնձում, ակնոցներ ու գլխարկներ դնում։ Փոխվում են մարմնի պլաստիկան և խոսքը։ Դիմակները դառնում են ամենազոր ու հսկայական, դրանք բազմապատկվում են և ամբողջությամբ գրավում են մեր ուշադրությունը։ taken in Yerevan, Armenia by @xronotope

Last week, we welcomed our future partners from Armenia here in Berlin. A continuation of our research funded by the programme WAYS, Fonds Anbahnen @kulturstiftungdesbundes. We spent productive days in our office, collecting thoughts and ideas for a large potential future project together - stay tuned for more on that!

Next to all the work in the office there was also time to visit Tanz im August together, as well as a rehearsal for our upcoming work @volksbuehne_berlin «House of Hopes». We are grateful for this exchange and look excitingly to the future!

🎭We are very pleased to have supported and accompanied the Chronofest theatre festival this year, which took place from May 28 to June 7 across various stages in Yerevan.
The festival opened with the performance “Die Scham” (“Shame”), a collaboration between Armenian and German artists.

With Chronofest, the city became a vibrant meeting point for contemporary theatre and performance - a place where artists from different contexts come together and open up new perspectives on stage and society.
Initiated by the theatre platform Chronotop, the festival brings together a wide range of artistic formats - from performative and documentary works to experimental and interactive productions.

Particularly exciting is the focus on exchange and shared experience: theatre is not only presented here, but collectively reimagined. Artists and audiences meet on equal footing, question social issues, and develop new forms of expression.
For us, it is especially inspiring to see how international collaboration and local voices come together in such formats, creating sustainable networks.

Craig McCorquodale is a Glasgow-based artist who pushes theatre into public spaces and brings the public realm back into the theatre.

As part of Proposed Circumstances, Craig led a special workshop titled «Civic Actions.»

The workshop was inspired by the project 24 Things to Tell You in which 24 texts and actions are introduced into public spaces over the course of 24 hours and explores a compelling question: how can performance enter civic space without announcing itself?

Քրեյգ ՄաքՔորքուդեյլը Գլազգոյում բնակվող արվեստագետ է, որը թատրոնը դուրս է բերում հանրային տարածքներ և հանրային տարածքի փորձառությունը վերադարձնում թատրոն։

«Առաջադրված հանգամանքներ» ծրագրի շրջանակում Քրեյգը վարեց հատուկ աշխատարան՝ «Քաղաքացիական գործողություններ» խորագրով։
