Stitch by stitch, the art of embroidery comes to life. Most likely crafted from silk velvet, the fabric shimmers like gentle waves, catching and reflecting the light with every movement.

In this look, @xructunacouture brings together European elegance with references to the visual traditions of the African continent. The face painting is inspired by the tribal peoples of the Omo Valley, especially the Karo and Suri, for whom geometric body painting is part of ritual, beauty and self-expression.

This ensemble is made with a jeweller’s attention to detail. Beadwork, embroidery, and the lines on the jacket, trousers, cuffs and chest piece create a rich visual rhythm, where every detail has its place.

Hundreds of hours of hand beadwork turn the costume into a personal couture object. It is a value-driven view of ethnic motifs in a contemporary interpretation: strong, refined and created with respect for the cultural source.

Attention to detail has always been at the center of Christine’s creative process.

As the creative director of XRUCTUNA, she approaches couture through observation, often focusing on details that many people would not immediately notice consciously, but still feel intuitively.

Her relationship with fashion illustration and visual composition began extremely early. Christine started drawing fashion sketches at the age of three, long before understanding couture as a profession or artistic discipline.

Over time,it developed into a particular way of seeing visual balance.

Today, this sensitivity influences every stage of the creative process within XRUCTUNA: from sketch development and fabric selection to embroidery, construction, symbolism, and final styling decisions.

For Christine, couture is built through details. Because very often, the difference between clothing and a memorable piece lies in the precision of the smallest elements.

One of the directions we explore in our work is the reinterpretation of traditional embroidery through a more contemporary and futuristic visual language.

Historical embroidery carried cultural memory, developed over generations. For centuries, these patterns functioned as a visual code connected to heritage.

In our approach, we preserve the structure of traditional embroidery while translating it into futuristic forms.
This creates a dialogue between heritage and modernity, where traditional craftsmanship evolves rather than remains frozen in the past.

For us, innovation does not mean rejecting. It means finding new visual languages through which cultural roots can existing in contemporary couture.

If you are interested in couture that combines cultural heritage and contemporary artistic direction, we invite you to discover our approach to modern craftsmanship. by @xructunacouture

Throughout fashion history, accessories have never been only decorative details. In many eras, they reflected status, identity, artistic taste, and personal symbolism.

Couture accessories in particular were often created by hand and treated almost as small wearable art objects designed to transform and personalise a look.

Today, we still see accessories in the same way.

A single couture detail, such as a handmade textile flower, sculptural brooch, embroidered collar, or artistic belt, can completely refresh an ensemble and change its emotional atmosphere without rebuilding the entire wardrobe.

This handcrafted floral accessory was designed to introduce contrast, texture, and individuality into a more minimal silhouette. The deep tones and hand-shaped structure create a stronger visual focus while remaining elegant and wearable.

For us, accessories are important because they allow people to express personality in a more subtle and versatile way. Sometimes one carefully chosen detail can completely transform the perception of a look.

If you want to add stronger individuality, artistic detail, and couture character to your wardrobe without rebuilding it completely, handcrafted accessories can transform the entire perception of a look. by @xructunacouture

We believe the future of couture is personal.

Not clothing created for mass trends, but garments developed around identity.
For us, couture is a dialogue between art, craftsmanship, and the person who wears the piece.

Because true luxury begins when clothing stops trying to fit everyone and starts reflecting someone specific.

Do you think the future of fashion is becoming more personal or more universal? by @xructunacouture

In XRUCTUNA we are passioned in creating couture that tells a story.

for example, this ensemble was designed around the idea of restrained power,
a sharp silhouette combined with detailed ornamental embroidery.

Our artisans focus to on texture and harmonic proportion rather than excess. The embroidery follows the architecture of the body, emphasizing the neckline, shoulders, and silhouette while preserving the precision and elegance of tailoring.

We are especially interested in creating pieces that feel cinematic and emotionally charged while remaining wearable and structurally refined.

In many ways, couture is similar to architecture or interior design: every detail, proportion, material, and line contributes to the emotional atmosphere surrounding the person wearing it.

Perhaps true luxury is not the loudest presence in the room, but the one that creates the strongest atmosphere without needing to ask for attention.

Do you think elegance today is becoming quieter or more theatrical?
