fuck man, I thought about how this would go and it’s never easier. I remember the first time you fighting dudes for me when I was 6-7 and we were going to John Marshall #20. You went to every soccer game despite the weather or time I played, 15 seizures & 15 times I wake up and you’re there. When our parents were fighting the challenges of life and tryna better our lives, you were big brother, sister, therapist, & even parent when I needa foot up my ass. you made sure I never joined a gang, made sure I stayed on my shit to get to college and then my real estate license. when I had no faith in myself you did. ngl days gotten longer, sleeps gotten shorter w/o you. but fuck mane, if I learned anything, everyone’s dealing w something. I know you still watching me og & know I got moms, dad & the rest of the family.
some like to think sol means ‘shit outta luck’, but idk despite all this imma still rise like the sun.
