Male,84yrs, outpatient,known HTN,not diabetic presented with weakness of both LE of 4months duration. There is a background of prostate CA which surgery was done.On assessment, there is urinary and feacal incontinence,sensation intact in UE but altered in LE,power in UE is 5, in LE just flicker of contraction,edematous feet,bed sore at the buttocks.

∆: Paraparesis 2° prostate CA.

If you are the THERAPIST,

What will be your Rx plan?

Is there anything to consider that might hinder your intervention?

Considering his age 84yrs, do you think you can achieve something meaningful in his muscle power bearing in mind that he has just flicker of contraction.? If yes state period of time needed, means and modalities.
