Persimmon season! This loaded tree is at Tree House Cafe, and they use all of their produce on their menu. I wonder what persimmon goodness we will see coming out of their kitchen? taken in West Sacramento, California by @xtra_christy

2 years ago today was the last Oakland A's game. The last tailgate party, the last time we all walked those halls together, the last hot dog, the press - some who tried and some who lied, the last shared joy with our beloved left field bleacher family, the last BP, the last elite hoody/horn combo.

It's still a wound, I'm still sad. The current Las Vegas A's play just blocks from our home but I just don't have the heart to go to games. When this Fisher-owned team is finally moved away, aka dead and gone, and if/when we get an expansion team, I will be all in and will support MLB in West Sacramento.

For now, all of my sport fandom is reserved for the Caledonian Braves, Sac Republic, San Francisco Firebells, Taylor Swift's husband's team, and the queerest team in the MLH, the Ottowa Centaurs. by @xtra_christy
