Happy birthday my sonshine. Wowww! I cannot believe you are 25 🤦🏽‍♀️. One of the biggest blessings and greatest joys that I’ve had in my life is the joy of being your mom. I may not always agree with your decisions or choices, however, I love you and support you through them all. I always hold you accountable and show up for you and always will! In life, no one is ever going to always agree with our decisions but allowing God to lead and guide us we will never go wrong! I thank God for you and for our relationship! I thank God that we are close and that’s a blessing in itself because Ethan’s not everyone’s reality. I love you to the moon and back and I am so proud of you! God reminded me of something powerful… 🙏

Back in 2000, I stood on His Word, planted, rooted, and grounded in Him. And even now, after every trial, every prayer, every hard season…He reminded me that the SAME foundation I stood on then is the SAME one I must stand on now. ✨

That’s why He continues to bless me. Not because life has been easy. But because I refused to let go of God.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 🙌His Word carried me then. His Word is carrying me now. And His Word will continue to sustain me moving forward. 🤍

Maybe the delays were supposed to teach you patience.

As mothers, we don’t always get it right. 💙

There are nights we cry in silence…

That hug…
that was the moment it became real. 😭🎓💙

Not the cap.
Not the stage.
Not the degree in his hand.

It was the embrace between a mother and her son after years of prayers, sacrifice, pressure, tears, and perseverance. 🙏

Watching my son receive his Bachelor’s degree and becoming the first man in our family to do it, is a moment I’ll never forget.

This wasn’t easy. But God was faithful every step of the way. ✨ The best Mother’s Day gift ever!

👑 FIRST GENERATION. FIRST MAN. BACHELOR’S DEGREE ACHIEVED. 👑

There are moments in life that words can barely describe… and this is one of them. ❤️😭

My son is officially the FIRST MAN in our family to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree! 🎓✨

Through hard times, setbacks, sacrifices, tears, prayers, long nights, disappointments, and moments where giving up could’ve been easier… WE PERSEVERED.

As a mother, I’ve prayed, pushed, encouraged, covered, and believed even when life got difficult. Watching my son cross this finish line is proof that God’s promises still stand and perseverance still pays off. 🙌🏽

This degree is more than education, it represents breaking generational barriers, changing family history, resilience, growth, and the power of never giving up.

To my son:
I am beyond proud of the man you are becoming. Your story will inspire generations after you. Keep walking boldly into your purpose and continue to TrYumph through it all. 🖤👑

What can I say about my handsome son??? God has been sooo good and so faithful! So many long nights and early mornings on my knees praying for protection, direction, strength peace and perseverance. When the world 🌎 doubted you and counted you out….God still knew your name and I still and will always have your back. There is nothing like a praying mother who knows how to go to God and go to war with the enemy every single time to cover my son! T, I am so proud of you! 👏🏽 I am in 😭 tears and I am so grateful to God that our prayers have come to pass! No body can take credit for this but YOU and God! I know that there is nothing but blessings coming your way as you continue to TRYumph and persevere. Through it all God has been so good to you!
