What are we up to this week?

We have another garden room under construction at the moment 🔨 for a return customer 😊.

This will look amazing in their garden giving them a nice warm insulated summer house that they can enjoy all year round.

Did anyone hear Simon’s interview on BBC radio Lincolnshire? If not you can listen on BBC sounds, it was on on Thursday at 6.45om 😊

If you did hear it then he was asked about who came up the designs etc, when we received the tender over the first jobs was to research each area and design a bench to suit.

This was the design that Simon submitted with the tender for the Woodhall Spa bench, a Viking warrior sat down grooming himself as woodhall spa is a bath town and Viking’s were renowned for being very clean and groomed.

What do you think of Simons original idea compared to the design he made?

1 down 4 to go 🔥

We love a repeat customer and we have lots of those 😊

Beginning of this week saw us returning to this traditional oak framed gazebo to bespoke make a cabinet in oak for the client.

It looks amazing 🤩 bespoke made in solid oak to perfectly fit the area 🔥.

The new machine is earning its keep 👍🏻

It has made life so much easier for Simon and Cobie when they need to move heavy things away from the yard 🔥

Simon has fabricated his own forks for it 😂.

Here we are collecting timber to complete a little project for a local business, any guesses what business?

Busy morning collecting timber from Crowtree Cafe for their next little project in our schedule.

Now for some a little different… where is Simon and what is he up too?

He is about to be joined by Richard Stead from BBC radio Lincoln to walk some of the Viking way whilst talking about the benches.

Not sure if it’s going to be broadcast live or played later.

Simon is not impressed that he had to actually WALK 2km one way then 2km back 😂😂

What a difference!!!!

The porch is all finished and what a difference it has made to the house which was looking rather sad without its grand entrance.

This porch is pretty much how it would have looked originally (see pic in comments).

We also replaced some of the original timber attached to the house where it had started to rot.

We have given it a coat of primer so it’s now all ready for a lick of paint.

Yesterday we rolled 2 jobs in to 1

One of our repeat customers bought the Elephant carving from us which just so happened to be Glyn who also had the Thai Sala pergola designed and built by us in 2024, it is still looking amazing and it was great to catch up with him and Alana and see the pergola in the flesh again.

On the way home we stopped off at Lincoln to collect a trunk so we can carve it back at the workshop to the customers design then take it back to him.

We are very busy at the moment so please bare with for quotes etc. we are trying our best to keep up!

Thank you for keeping us so busy.

If you haven’t already take a look at the blog we did on the pergola.
