2.21.25 - 2.25.25 - Life has been pretty rough these last few months. And while that alone is a gross understatement, this past weekend meant the world to me. About 20 something years ago, I met these nerds on Xbox Live when we were just kids. We've developed an incredible relationship and have kept in contact this whole time. For the first time ever, the three of us were all in the same room for @iosefkas_clinic and Victoria's beautiful wedding. I got to visit some old friends @amandarenfr0 and @downtown_tommybrown , I got to visit my favorite store in North America, @pallbearer_press and got to see some other things in Austin I've not seen before, all while making some new friends as well! I don't think I've smiled this hard, laughed this hard, or felt so much love in quite some time. I'm so sad I didn't take a million pictures, and I'm sad it felt so short, but the fond memories will remain forever. Thank you to everyone, I will never forget this trip. Texas, I talk a lot of shit about you, but every time I'm here, I have a blast. I can't wait for our next trip! Let's get planning! by @xtussell
April 2024 | The first quarter of the year started with quite a series of unfortunate events. Whether it's the cars breaking down, the new apartment flooding, or paying double rent, it definitely felt like I was on a losing streak! April brought some serious smiles, though! Queensryche for Chris' birthday started the month with a BANG! A week or two later, @twrpband brought down the house at the Aggie - one of the most unique shows I've ever seen! My first visit to Casa Bonita followed, and it was everything I'd hoped for! Shoutout to @austin_brim for the last minute free tickets to @thisisaaronwest who I'd never seen before but am an immediate fan of! Unreal storytelling and songwriting, and one hell of a sweet boy! I'm still salty we didn't get that Mountain Goats cover though! Finally, ended with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo visit. Things are looking up, and May is going to be amazing - my parents are visiting, more sick shows, and nicer weather by @xtussell
What a wild couple of months it has been... Lots of ups, lots of downs, and goddamn was I ready for a new year. Macy Gray at one of the worst venues in the entire world (Washingtons 🖕), my boys in @uppercut970 at the old Loveland Elks lodge in the deserted bingo hall (which was fuckin SICK!), The Crystal Method at a BOWLING ALLEY (?!), and finally the GOAT, Afroman at the Moxie, which was by far the highlight of the string of shows. We even had a chance to meet Scott of Crystal Method! Overall, it was a pretty damn good way to end 2023, and not a half bad way to ring in 2024. I hope to be happier and healthier this year, and I hope the same for all of you! Happy belated holidays and happy new year from the Bondi's! Unless we don't like you, then you can go suck an egg instead. 💁‍♀️ by @xtussell
Here's to another year of Sporify! It's too bad all the hours of live music and physical media don't somehow apply. #LongLiveTrap #GUWOP! by @xtussell
10.18 - 10.20 Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats @ The Stanley Hotel | It's not often that you get to see your favorite band three nights in a row in a venue that holds less than 500 people, let alone a haunted hotel. Thank you SO much @uncleacidband for melting our brains night after night. I met so many amazing people and was able to jam out with a ton of good friends. It's nights like these that make everything worth it. 🤘🫠 by @xtussell
9.11 & 9.12 | Back to CO! | After you get past all the anti abortion, anti pornography, and all the ridiculous signs that litter Kansas, it's actually a pretty sweet place. Hell, they even named a town after me! After sleeping on a forest floor for four nights, checking into a hotel with a hot tub and free laundry was a must, and they even had a killer family owned BBQ joint in the same parking lot! After a nice soak, real shower, real bed, my body weight in smoked meats, and half a dozen Yuengling's, we hit what may have been the highlight of our trip, MENARDS! Got all the free lumber smells, stared up at all the cool lights, and even bought more merch there than at the music festival! Colorado, get your shit together and get a Menards in this B! Finally, we hit the town of Russell, which was mostly all brick roads and seemingly abandoned, haha! Super neat! Thank you, Kansas, for showing us a heckin good week, we will be back inside you soon. However, maybe ditch all your obnoxious signage, I don't need reminders every couple miles that I'm a bloodsucking heathen sprinting to hell. 👿 by @xtussell
Dancefestopia 2023 Sept 7-10 | Marking both my first EDM festival AND my first camping festival, Dancefestopia was a force to be reckoned with! My robot ears are fully developed, and we managed to walk/dance a total of 40 miles in less than 4 days! Seeing artists from my adolescence, such as Borgore and Knife Party, to some current killers like Excision and Subtronics, and tons I've never listened to but now can't stop! I'm already trying to plan for next year! Thank you @dancefestopia for a weekend I'll never forget. Until next year, Emerald Forest! ✌️💚 #dancefestopia by @xtussell
August 2023 | Outside of Laugh Out Loveland, August was still jam packed! My wonderful family came out to visit and we took them on some adventures and picnics in between shows, smoked joints in the Big Thompson River, saw Haunted Mansion, and did an unhealthy amount of barhopping. They even did Tang Bombs at Pumphouse! We also had the pleasure of witnessing the marriage of @micaelaseiden.art and @samuelswan88 and it was hands down one of the most beautiful weddings I've ever seen! Thank you so much for letting us take part in an incredible day! We wish you both endless happiness! Shoutout to @burkstavern for facilitating the party bus! September is going to bring my first 4-day EDM festival, and frankly, I'm scared. 🤣 by @xtussell
This weekend has been BEYOND humbling. Without my partners @dbubcomedy and @jelbright1974 and all of our INCREDIBLE performers, sponsors, and venues, we'd still be three dudes at @burkstavern talking about starting a comedy festival in Loveland. You all made this a reality, and I can not thank everyone involved enough. Enjoy my poor photography and one more little photodump! Tonight is the final night, as we wrap up with axe throwing and the Best of Showcase. This is the only event that hasn't yet sold out, so if you've missed any of our weekend festivities, this is the show to check! This first year was an unbelievable success, and I can't wait for next year! I hope all of you had as much fun performing and attending as we did putting this all together! Long live @laughoutloveland ! 🤘 by @xtussell
Laugh Out Loveland Day 1 | Absolute success! The kick-off to the festival went unbelievably smooth, and amongst all the other shows was also SOLD OUT! Sorry for crying on the mic, but I can't express how amazing putting this all together has been! It wouldn't be possible without our amazing community as well as our wonderful sponsors and all the incredible talent! ❤️ Day 2 of 4 begins at Aleworks this afternoon! Let's rage! by @xtussell
Awesome day in Breck that ended with a scenic walk from the hotel to one of my new favorite venues, the @dillonamphitheater_ for @amigothedevil and @tbtduluth! The walk back was a little more difficult at 11pm using our phones as light, and it involved a stop at a super market for four $1 TV dinners. #fuckredrocks 😅 by @xtussell
