PSA WE’RE ENGAGED. 💍09.08.26♥️ I think this secret was harder to keep quiet for those that knew than for me. 😂 To be honest I don’t feel any different. And I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think that just shows the stability between two people in a longstanding relationship. We knew we were in it for the long-run. FAQs 1) So how did it happen you ask? It actually happened on our trip to Niagara Falls with my parents. It was our first full day in Canada. Austin told me he had originally planned to do it on the boat that took us into the mist (which thankfully he didn’t because the mist was so intense, he probably would’ve lost the ring). That morning when we were leaving to head on the bus for that day’s activities, Austin said he “forgot his wallet” and went back into the room to get the ring. I was already walking down the hallway so I wasn’t gonna turn around. After a fun-filled day and an amazing dinner in front of the Falls, my parents, Austin, and I went to Journey Behind the Falls where we went down an elevator to two outlooks. One outlook was right in front of the Falls and the other was behind the falls. After going to both lookouts with our yellow Ponchos on, Austin said we should go back to the first one without out Ponchos to take pictures. He gave my mom his phone to take pictures in front of the Falls. He then tells my mom to make sure to get “full-body” pictures. We’re smiling and he turned to me and says “yknow I love you right.” He proceeds to go down on one knee and pull out the ring (we BOTH designed). I don’t remember what he said at that point and I can hear some other people that were there cheering. And yes i did cry. (continued in comments) by @xxhannahk
“The first record of human settlers to the Niagara Peninsula dates from between 1300 and 1400 AD when native tribes journeyed south to the region from Ontario. They settled on the game-rich forests on the shores of Lake Erie and the Niagara River, hunting the likes of moose and elk to survive. One of the earliest of these tribes was the Onguiaahra, which is said to be one of the names from which “Niagara” first originated.” - Niagara Falls #niagarafalls #niagarafallsontario #canada #climateaction Elvis show in Ohio (Day 1) Belgian Horse Farm (Day 2) crossed the border (Day 2) dinner at The Mandarin (Day 2) fireworks from the Falls (Day 2) plaque at the Falls (Day 3) View from lunch (Day 3) Maple Syrup shots (Day 4) Austin taking said shot (Day 4) by @xxhannahk
