I graduated nail school!! I’m now a LICENSED manicurist!! 💅 These past 5-6 months i’ve been a little quiet on my personal IG because I’ve been working on myself. Reached a dead end in graphic design bc no one would hire me after the gaps in my resume 😔 went through a lot of job apps and interviews only to not be selected in the end. I thought it was finally time to pivot, so I did. I think EJAE (@ejae_k) was right when she said rejection was just redirection. I found a love for nails and nail art… balanced school and work (not design) and a social life somehow. Happy to be done with school but now I’m excited to see where this takes me. Thank you to ria (@riathenailtech) for sharing your experience as a nail tech while I was still debating if I should do it and mana (@moongirlnails) for also offering the same knowledge and letting me shadow you for a day! And ofc thank you to everyone who has supported my art and have gotten their nails done by me or ordered press ons. Discovered a new cool band 🧛🏻, got spat on 🥲, bonded with JT over cats 🐱, got my arm crushed by a crowd surfer, sang my emo heart out 🎶🎤, and made new friends 💙💅 This album was such a big part of my teenage years and I’m so glad I got to go to the 20th anniversary tour. 2025… honestly really sucked. Easily one of the worst years of my life. Struggled and am still struggling to transition back to living in the states. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about Korea and how much I miss it. Still feel like a failure in a lot of ways. Broke, unemployed, felt like giving up a lot of days. Still, I wanted to make this post to find the good things that happened this year. Always grateful for friends and fam who are here for me through thick and thin, and my cats for being my emotional support. Thinking about all the concerts I have lined up for 2026 keeps me going. Now that I started school to pursue a new career I’m hoping the next year will be better. Thanks for reading this far and hope the next year will be good to you too. - Julina 🤍 by @xxjulina

Late post but I can’t believe I finally got to see MCR live 😭 my emo heart 🥀🖤 was so bummed when they broke up… then excited when they came back… bought a ticket to their concert… then covid happened so they had to postpone. Had to sell my ticket because they postponed to 2022 and I was going to move to Korea before the concert 😭 but finally… it happened. I skipped warped tour day 2 but I don’t regret a thing. It was so surreal to see them and they were sooo good live! TBH i didn’t listen to the black parade or any newer stuff much, but three cheers for sweet revenge holds such a special place in my heart. ❤️ I think it was the first CD i bought for myself and I would listen to it often front to back. I was so glad they played cemetery drive for day 2 since it’s one of my fav songs!! Hopefully there will be a three cheers anniversary tour in the future 🥲 thank you @iguanaboyfriends for being my concert buddy and being down to go somewhat last minute!! No one else i would want to experience this with 🥹❤️ i will study their other songs for next time 😆 taken in Dodgers Stadium by @xxjulina

So glad we finally got to see yoasobi!! We were supposed to go to their show last year but had to miss it… yoasobi is soooo good and ikura sounds amazing live!!
