Perhaps consciousness was never meant to arrive at judgment, but at recognition—the strange evolutionary moment when life begins to witness itself. Why Antifungal Resistance Is Becoming a Bigger Concern.. (I believe it’s a bioweapon)

A growing public-health concern is emerging around drug-resistant fungi, including Candida auris. The organism has been detected in multiple parts of the United States and can be particularly difficult to treat when it becomes resistant to commonly used antifungal medications.
One factor researchers are investigating is the relationship between agricultural fungicide use and resistance in medically important fungi. Some chemicals used to protect crops act on biological pathways that are also targeted by certain human antifungal drugs. Repeated exposure in the environment could therefore create conditions that favor fungi capable of surviving those treatments. The relationship is complex, however, and agricultural fungicides are only one part of the broader resistance problem.

There is also a fundamental challenge in developing antifungal medicines: fungi are biologically much more similar to humans than bacteria are. That leaves scientists with fewer ways to attack a fungal infection without potentially harming human cells. As resistance increases, preserving the effectiveness of existing drugs while developing new ones becomes increasingly important.

The issue extends beyond Candida auris. Resistant strains of other fungi, including Aspergillus and Trichophyton species, are also attracting attention from researchers and public-health officials. Detecting these organisms early and understanding where resistance is developing can help hospitals and health agencies respond more effectively.

Addressing the problem will likely require several approaches at once: better diagnostic testing, continued monitoring of resistant fungi, responsible use of antifungal chemicals in both medicine and agriculture, and greater investment in new treatments. For decades I’ve encouraged friends and family to look more closely at organizations such as HAARP, CERN, and DARPA, along with broader questions about emerging technologies, military research, and biodefense. My concern has never been about accepting every claim at face value, but about asking difficult questions and examining the evidence critically. Many of these conversations were dismissed outright at the time.
