My fav part aside from the shot out from my sweet soul brother/client was when they asked him the benefits from “tree hugging” and he’s all- “look at my skin”
😄
I love you @cthagod and congrats on your new book.
I love the end part of the title, makes me chuckle-

Nature is my church. Presence is my prayer. 🌿🌊

When the world feels heavy, I return to nature to reboot. To reconnect with the beauty, harmony, and wisdom of our living, breathing Mother Earth. A reminder that we are not separate from nature. We ARE nature.

May we tend to ourselves with the same love and devotion we wish to see in the world. 🌎💚

My Taurus Beanie Baby! 🐂🌕❤️

For three years, my son begged me to get a dog, and for three years my answer was HELL NO! 😂 As a single mama, I knew exactly what we were signing up for. A dog is an eternal toddler!

What I didn’t know was how much this little soul would end up mothering ME. ❤️

As my son blossomed into a full-fledged teenager, seemingly overnight, the cuddles and physical affection that had always been one of our shared love languages naturally became less frequent.

And there was Draco. 🥹

My little oxytocin dealer, keeping my nervous system nourished with unconditional love, devotion, and endless cuddles through this beautiful transition in motherhood.

I went from declaring myself the deadbeat grandma who would only step in when absolutely necessary to becoming the grandma who spoils her grandbaby like no body’s business! 😂

Life has such a beautiful way of giving us what we didn’t even know we needed.

And under the light of this Taurus Full Moon, I celebrated my sweet, loyal, loving Beanie Baby, aka Baby Grandson, and the medicine he’s brought into our lives.

How lucky are we to love and be loved by these magnificent beings! ❤️🐾

essings to all beings 🙌💚✨✨✨

ONE EARTH. ONE HOME. ONE HUMANITY. 🌎

Homeschooling my son has me diving into astronomy, and the more I learn about the enormity of our universe, the more extraordinary our existence becomes.

Consider this…

Our galaxy, the Milky Way, has an estimated 100–400 BILLION stars.

Beyond our galaxy there are TRILLIONS of galaxies, each containing billions of stars. 🤩

And then there’s the fascinating scientific speculation that our universe may be one of many in a MULTIVERSE!

And here we are, held by our living, breathing Mother Earth, with her own heartbeat, whose intricate ecosystems make our existence possible.

Which brings me to why I’m celebrating Lula’s reelection in Brazil! 🇧🇷

As I sit here enjoying the Mediterranean Sea, I recognize my well-being is intimately connected to the Amazon rainforest, thousands of miles away.

The Amazon helps regulate our global climate, and its destruction affects us all.

There is no escaping our interconnectedness.

Indigenous peoples of the Amazon have understood this for generations, tending to the land with the recognition that caring for nature is inseparable from caring for life.

An important reminder for our growing self-awareness movement.

Yes, tending to our individual well-being is essential. But true well-being also requires that we tend to one another, our communities, and the natural world wherever we find ourselves.

Self-awareness must expand into collective awareness.

We cannot truly thrive in a world that is suffering. Injustice anywhere has consequences everywhere.

My active prayer is that we continue awakening to this truth, recognizing ourselves as one humanity, sharing one extraordinary home, and making choices that honor our responsibility to the greater whole.

In the vastness of existence, how precious is our living, breathing Mother Earth, who nourishes, shelters, and sustains us all.

In gratitude for “Unity through Diversity”.

Ometeotl ✨

Hola, mi gente chula! 💋
Just here hibernating these last few days…

It’s so important for us to respect our own rhythm. It’s taken me a few decades to get here, and it’s certainly not about perfection. But it does require the willingness to self-reflect so that we can get to the point of knowing ourselves intimately enough to recognize what personal season we’re in and what our rythm is cause we’re all different.

There are times when I’m go, go, go! And there are times when not even the most intriguing event will get me out of hermitage.

And even while I’m in hermit mode, there are days when I’ll tidy up, dive into a creative project, learn, research or get some Matrix shit done… getting clear on taxes, taking care of those annoying parking tickets, etc.

But then there are also days when I’ll drink my matcha out of a beer glass cause I simply refuse to do the dishes. 😏

The point is that when we respect our own rhythm instead of forcing ourselves, we don’t fall out of sync. Before we know it we become more capable of creating a lifestyle that is constantly in flow.

And what a vibe that is!

Salud to all of us claiming the freedom to live in flow as our divine birthright.

May all beings be free!

Ometeotl. 🥂

Copenhagen, it’s a wrap! 🇩🇰🤎…and because I’m not one to gatekeep, let me share how we’ve been making our adventures around the world a whole lot more affordable!

Through @livekindred a home-swapping community of like-minded people who share a love for travel, curiosity, and discovering the world. A beautiful collection of homes around the globe, where we can stay using credits we earn by sharing our own.

It’s opened up a whole new world of possibilities, allowing us to explore new places, immerse ourselves in different cultures, and create beautiful memories together without spending a fortune on accommodations.

And here’s the best part: you don’t necessarily have to exchange homes with the people whose homes you stay in! Because it’s based on a points system, you can earn credits by hosting and use them to stay wherever your curiosity takes you.

If you’ve been dreaming of traveling more while spending less, DM me KINDRED, and I’ll happily send you my referral link so you can start your own adventures with 5 points, equivalent to 5 nights of accommodation!

Because the more we share opportunities with one another, the more possibilities we create for everyone.

Until our next adventure, Copenhagen, you’re the bomb! ❤️🇩🇰

Welcome to @copenhilldk, where the future is already happening! ✨

For a moment, it felt like we had slipped into a future timeline.

There we were in Copenhagen, climbing what felt like a mountain, surrounded by greenery, watching people ski down the slopes. Except we weren’t on a mountain. We were on top of a power plant!

Designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels and his team, this waste-to-energy plant transforms non-recyclable waste into electricity and heating for thousands of homes.

And on its rooftop? An 85-meter-high recreational mountain complete with hiking trails, a year-round ski slope, and one of the world’s tallest climbing walls!

Imagine that. A building that helps power a city while simultaneously providing a playground for its people.

As Ali and I made our way to the top, I couldn’t help but think about what’s possible when human ingenuity, environmental responsibility, and imagination come together.

This is the kind of future I want to see us co-create. One where innovation doesn’t come at the expense of our relationship with Mother Earth, but inspires us to rethink how we live alongside her.

The future isn’t something we simply inherit. It’s something we create.

And sometimes, you get to walk right on top of it. ❤️
