𝓐𝓼 𝓛𝓸𝓷𝓰 𝓐𝓼 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓐𝓻𝓮 𝓦𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼, 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝓦𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓑𝓮 𝓛𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓻𝓼..💔 𝓨𝓮𝓪𝓻 2️⃣

As the season came to an end, I found myself reflecting the last 4 days on how much I’ve grown both on and off the court. This year tested me in every type of way: physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were times when I felt doubt, frustration, confusion, experienced tough losses, had rough practices, games where nothing seemed to go my way, but everything has forced me to mature. I’ve learned that sometimes doing the things that don’t show up in the stats is what really separates you as a player, i’ve learned how to push through adversity when I felt overlooked or talked down upon, how to hold myself accountable after a bad performance, and how to make others around me better. I discovered that resilience isn’t just bouncing back after a bad game, but it’s about showing up the next day with the right mindset, going game speed every rep, giving it all you have so you leave no room for “If”, not making excuses and instead fixing it the next play. Beyond all the highlights and achievements I had, l’Il never forget the quiet work, countless hours spent working, hours watching film, the personal sacrifices, the friendships, the days I didn’t feel like getting up, the growth that happened when no one was watching, and most importantly how bad this hurt. Although it didn’t end how I wished, this season wasn’t just about improving my skills, it strengthened my character and prepared me for a championship season next year..🥇

The final buzzer and the feeling of knowing I gave everything I had, but wish i would’ve done more, hurt more than words can explain. I never imagined it would end like this. One moment you’re chasing everything you’ve worked for all year, and the next your one game away, you lose by 1 point, in front of a packed gym, in overtime, feeling you’d let everybody down. I believe god’s plan and there’s a reason for everything. Sometimes the hardest battles are meant for the strongest soldiers. Hell of a year, had lots of ups and downs, especially with a lot of people having to fill a huge role due to injuries. We didn’t do as well as we wanted but there isn’t another group of guys i wanna go to war with like these dudes. Would like to see who we are at our full potential but it’s god’s plan always. Blessed With Another Chance💯🌟 #playoffs … Freshman season definitely been a learning experience.. and definitely a challenge, but one I was willing to take on. I’m confident enough to say that i gave every game, everything i had.. My teammates were incredible and nothing short of it, helping me every step of the way, whether if it was learning and helping me fix mistakes in practice, or just helping me keep my confidence. through every mistake, every loss, and every successful play they were there to support me. I learned a lot from all of them, not just about football, but also teamwork, bonding and dedication to the game. All the hard work that we have put in, has helped us get here and we haven’t gave up.. Making the playoffs is a big achievement for a young team like us.. especially with all the obstacles we’ve been through. This is a test for all the hard work we put in, and I’m incredibly grateful for the team and this opportunity. We have another chance to win, and I can’t wait to leave it all on the field with an amazing group of guys. I wouldn’t have wanted to do it with anybody else and i’m proud of all of ‘em..
