i have a lot to say to this skirt because Anastasia is my very first skirt design! i don't think that i see much designs for crochet bottoms so i really enjoyed the challenge of creating something that's unique yet still works for my branding 🥰

i am pretty sure when i say that this design is something one of a kind 🙊 the construction to the overall design of the skirt are very eccentric despite its simplicity once you get the hang of doing it. that's why a lot of my testers really loved this skirt 🥹

finally, if you want to feel like a princess or even a queen, this skirt is the perfect addition to your wardrobe! 👸🏽👑 you'll have a perfectly looking skirt while looking very pretty! need i say more? 😋

🎀💖 CONSTANCE PATTERN RELEASE 💖🎀

the day has finally come and the Constance Vintage Cardigan is finally here! you guys don't know how happy i am knowing that you can now guys make your own version of this cardi 🥹

if you are still debating whether you should buy Constance or not, here are some fun facts and reasons about her! 😋

🧶 the ultimate scrap yarn dress 🧶

long time no post! and we are starting off with this scrap yarn dress that i have posting since last week LOL!

isn't she gorg?! it's made with a handful of hand dyed yarns from local yarn dyers here in the Philippines! among these are @speckledbypurls , @col.ture , @kulayarn.ph , and Nula Yarns. i also included some leftover solid yarns from Ashley's Crochet and Gantsilyo Guru 💖 i myself don't even know how many different colorways are included in this dress 😆

i really adore this piece, it's 100% unique because of the colors used! that's the thing with using scrap yarns, you'll always have a distinct version of a project that you'll make 😋

P.S. the red bows might just be an easter egg for something something 🥱👀 by @yala__stitched

Anastasia skirt - the only skirt that could instantly make you feel like a princess straight out of a fairy tale! 👸🏻🌹✨

This pattern has been such a joy to make and I absolutely love the idea of the double layering! Not only does it provide better safety, but you can also go wild with your color combos!! 😆💞

I don't need to wait for a prince to come to feel like a princess, i just need to crochet my own princess outfit 👑🩷✨️
.
You ever put on an outfit and just feel like you can take on the world? This was how i felt 🥰✨️ Walking around in my little handmade Snow White outfit truly made me feel like i was living my princess dreams 💖
.
I always loved dressing up and being colourful, and that made me spend way too much money (that i did not have 🥹) buying fast fashion pieces (🤢🤢) But i still wasn't satisfied because i had a hard time finding pieces that fit me perfectly and that made me feel like, well, me 😕 I also used to not like wearing certain colours, like yellow, because all the yellow clothes i found clashed with my skin tone too much so i sworn off wearing yellow 🙈
.
But then i discovered crochet, and 🎶 A Whole New World 🎶 opened up to me ✨️ I realised that if a piece doesn't fit right, i could just frog and redo it until it fit perfectly 💯💖 I could choose the colours i wanted to use, if this yellow isn't right, i could use a different shade to make the same design i wanted (now i loveeee wearing yellow it's my favourite colour!!) 💛 So walking around in this gorgeous bright yellow Anastasia skirt that FITS LIKE A GLOVE made me realise again, how much i truly love this craft 😭❤️

Meet Anastasia by @yala__stitched! My absolute favorite skirt🥺💖

Let me just begin by saying that it's an incredible honor to be able to work with Alaine again! The testing team as well!! There were so many familiar faces this time around, and a lot of testers matched their Anastasia with another one of Alaine's designs! I absolutely love that, because SAME!! In my pictures I paired the skirt with the Barbara vintage cardigan!

I also loved the small last minute details I added to this skirt!! The ribbons on the drape are from the yarn I used for the ruffles and waist chains, with white flowers in the middle! Plus the vines I added on the waist chains (which kinda made it bunch up a bit, but it was the VIBE). Also the pearls I put in the roses!!🥺🥺 AHHH It was such a burst of inspiration when I saw the final skirt that I couldn't help but add all this!!

This was such a fun piece to make, and I love the two layers🥺✨ The pattern is written so well and I honestly cannot get over how Alaine makes the pdf layouts and the amount of detail that is put into making sure we're properly guided while making the skirt!!! Here are all the reasons why Anastasia has my heart💕:

🥀 Amazing fit!! It's absolutely perfect, easy to wear, and so so so comfortable💖
🥀 Allows for so much creativity!! It has two layers, which opens up a lot of beautiful color combinations! You also get instructions for appliques, chains, and cinches which you can add to make Anastasia your own! Feel free to check out all the tester versions for inspo💖 they're all so prettyyyy!
🥀 You can make it in any length and it'll SLAY! Testers made Anastasia in varying lengths, and they're all so beautiful! One tester even made multiple layers!!
🥀 It's so fun to move around it! The outer layer makes the skirt flowy (you can also make it flowier), but the inner layer makes you feel very secure and safe!

Honestly, words cannot express how happy I am to have tested Anastasia for Alaine! I love them both so much, and again, the skirt fits me so well omggg🥺🥺🥺🥺

Please give both of them lots of love and support, they deserve the world!!
