Quiet MetamorphosisThis installation reimagines a familiar object as a vessel for quiet metamorphosis. Wrapped in soft cotton and delicately sewn together by hand, the chair becomes a fragile cradle for life to unfold. Over the course of several weeks, wheat slowly germinates and grows across its surface, turning the still form into a living, breathing presence. What once functioned as a static object transforms into a site of organic motion - a tender contradiction between material stillness and biological growth. B.base: A body-based Space: Exhibition and Screening: 12 of June Introducting the artists: Yamadatesla with Gvaram Digital Sentimentality is a video-format audio-visual experience created in collaboration between Georgian artists Tamar Kvantaliani (yamadatesla) and Gvaram. The work explores the intersection of memory, technology, and the emotional weight of the digital age. Created during the height of ongoing protests in Tbilisi, Georgia, this workemerges as a form of resistance—an artistic response to the emotional and political climate marked by rising repression.In a time when public expression is increasingly restricted, the artists turn inward, using experimental tools to reconnect with intimate memories and reframe them through a digital lens. The video explores how technology both preserves and distorts sentiment, questioning the authenticity of digitally archived emotions while embracing their poeticPotential.Visual Artist:Yamadatesla (Tama Kvantaliani) is a multidisciplinary artist working across digital and physical mediums. Her practice spans experimental 3D animation, installation, conceptual art, sculpture, and ceramics. Self-taught in digital animation, she explores the absurdity of life through surreal visual language. Music Producer:Gvaram is a music producer and sound experimentalist based in Tbilisi, Georgia. He began working with sound in his late 30s, focusing on collaborative and process-based approaches. His work includes contributions to the collective album No Signal under If Strangers, as well as sound design for fashion shows, video works, and short films. 18:00-20:00: Screening of “Digital Sentimentality” by Yamadatesla in collaboration with Gvaram. 20:30-22:00: Conversation with the participating artists. by @yamadatesla
