The Ho Minti Society is hosting its fourth annual intertribal culture camp at Toledo Bend State Park. Camp is for children ages 5-17. Registration can found in the bio. Programming includes Mobilian and Choctaw language practice, a natural dye workshop, pigment painting, weaving, beading, music, traditional native games (heavy on the stickball), +! by @yamanumpa

I am so excited to share these vendor updates! @veggie_tamales_nola for your hunger! @justflowers444 & @serpentinesilverqueen for your art. Legend @possumtownjohn has a new album, and I’ll be looking for a vinyl. Maybe we’ll dance the snake dance? Native vendors, please contact me! This event will emphasize using Mobilenne/Yama, the ancient pidgin trade language of the southeast region. Everyone who came here used it - friends of all backgrounds & heritage are encouraged to learn! We will be at Nanih Bvlbancha (the lafitte greenway & n rocheblave) from 2-7 on October 12th. by @yamanumpa

The intertribal community in Bvlbancha will be celebrating Indigenous Peoples’ Day on October 12th with a swa(m)p meet to once again employ the ancient language of trade used by southeastern tribes and then later, settlers. All are welcome and encouraged to attend, participate, and learn, sing, dance and celebrate. by @yamanumpa
