After working in two completely different industries, experiencing back-to-back layoffs (AND having a baby!!!), I found myself questioning everything—especially my identity. Who am I when I’m employed vs. when I’m not? Does who I am actually change… or just my perception of myself?

Through many iterations of this new reality, I reawakened what has always been true for me: I love storytelling. I love video. I love/hate social media. I love studying human behavior (where my psych majors atttt?).

Even though the past few years have felt unpredictable, creativity has been my constant.

So here I am, finally doing something I’ve always wanted to do, but on my own terms, with months of labor and love behind it. (Y’all remember when I started a graphic design business in 2020? Love y’all down for supporting my self-taught ambition.)

I’m introducing Forebloom: a creative marketing studio that helps creatives like me get ideas out of their heads and into motion. A mix of self-taught ambition and agency training, and 100% ready for what’s next.

GRWM for @beyonce 🐝🤍.. Let me tell you about being a “baddie on a budget” bc I did not have the budget for a concert outfit but made it happen for under $50 lol (my dress was on sale for $14)

Anyways, the concert was a 20/10. I have so much respect for Beyoncé’s work ethic. From the visuals, outfit changes, choreography, 😭 the overall production was worth the money and even if I couldn’t pull an outfit together I would have pulled up in sweats because a Beyoncé concert is just something you don’t miss 😂😂.

When you know it’s not silk press szn but you do what you want 😂.. AND DID! The TikTok girlies put me on to the @colorwowhair dream coat (extra strength) to keep my hair laid during this hot Af weather. I’ll update y’all if it understood the assignment. Anyways, my hair came out SO GOOD! I only straighten my hair a few times a year so I’m always super excited when I get it done.

S/o to my stylist and name twin @hairby.ay for taming the tresses today. I love going to her bc she’s very informed about how to care for natural hair & really gives it that extra TLC. Y’all should definitely book her if you’re in the Atlanta area. ✨✨✨
