I picked up “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus” when I was 10 years old.

I was trying to understand why love falls apart.

That question never left me.

What followed was a life that took me places I never expected. Early love marriage… followed by his cancer diagnosis 3 months in. 7 years as a dedicated solo caregiver with my own life on hold. My mental health crisis and suicidal state. A divorce that the world judged me harshly for. His tragic death. Two devastating griefs at once. And a darkness I wasn’t sure I’d find my way out of.

And then, slowly, everything.

15 years of traveling, studying, healing. Tibetan masters. Scientists. Spiritual teachers across every tradition. Not because I was searching for answers to sell. Because I desperately needed them for myself.

Today I’m in my early 40s. Happily married for over 17 years. A multicultural, blended family. Beautiful, real, and humbling in equal measure.

I built the Academy of Love™ for women like me. High-achieving. High-standards. A little impatient. And quietly wondering why the one area that matters most keeps feeling so hard.

I was at a dinner. 23 women in a room. Different cultures, different backgrounds, different walks of life, all sitting together in a space designed for one purpose.

To stop. To go inward. To ask the questions we never make time for in the middle of our very busy, very full, very responsible lives.

As I sat there listening to women’s stories and doing my own reflection, something came through with a clarity I was not expecting.

It is time to embrace the magic that runs in my blood.

My mother is a modern mystic. I grew up in the USSR in a household full of practices, rituals, and tools that were, at the time, not just unconventional but forbidden. She practiced anyway. And she passed all of it on to me in the quiet, permanent way that mothers shape their daughters.

I have carried it my whole life. And I have also been, for a long time, very careful about how openly I share it.

But sitting in that room, surrounded by 23 women who were all hungry for something beyond the surface of things, I understood: this is not something to keep selective anymore. It is something to share.

Because here is what I know to be true: as long as we carry everything alone, life is just hard.

If we want to build great things with grace, and I do, we have to learn to surrender to something larger than ourselves. To co-create rather than just manage. To work with the invisible forces of life rather than against them.

Call it the universe. Call it God. Call it your higher self or the field or simply life itself. The word matters less than the willingness to open to it.

This is already woven through everything I do, in Return to Love, and in @the.academyoflove, where the final three months, the Priestess Path, are entirely devoted to manifestation, co-creation, and the metaphysical tools that make the impossible feel possible.

And now I am ready to bring it forward more fully.
