🚨 COMMITMENT ALERT 🚨

Congratulations to 2027 RHP Yanni Moraitis (The Hun School, NJ) on his commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Babson College, one of the premier Division III baseball programs and academic institutions in the country!

Yanni has been one of our most consistent arms all summer. At 6’1/185 lbs, he is an uber-athletic right-hander with a clean, effortless delivery, a fastball that lives 85–87 MPH and has touched 88 with plenty of arm-side run, and the ability to confidently command both his breaking ball and changeup in any count. That BB missed a ton of bats the last two years!

Yanni received Division I interest throughout the recruiting process, but ultimately made a mature and calculated decision to attend a top-tier Division III program where he has an opportunity to make an immediate impact while also prioritizing his education at one of the strongest academic institutions in the country. It was a decision that perfectly reflected what was most important to him both as a player and as a student.

Beyond the field, Yanni handled his recruitment extremely well. He was organized, thoughtful, stayed in constant communication with our staff, and utilized us as coaches exactly the way a player should throughout the process. He approached every decision with maturity and professionalism. Babson is getting an outstanding athlete, student and young man, and we are excited to see what Yanni does at the next level!

Congratulations again to Yanni and the entire Moraitis family! Well deserved! ⚾️🎓 #MarlinsFamily #Commit594 taken in Babson College by @yanni_moraitis
