Storytime part 2:

Flew to Korea for the first time.
Enjoyed a break spending time with my girlfriend.
Made friends.
Booked the next plane tickets and places to stay along the way.

Visited my family in Saigon again.
Met my nephew and niece for the first time.
Attended my sister's marriage in Saigon.
Drank waaay too much beer.
Went to Hanoi for the first time.
Met dancers and made connections in Vietnam.

Decided to go to Osaka for the first time.
Reunited with friends I met in Vancouver.
Was way too spontaneous.
Went to universal studios with friends I made a few days before.
Went to Nagoya.
Drank way too much.
Slept on the floor a couple of times.
Shinkansen to Tokyo.
Almost ended on the street for the night (no more room in the manga Cafe).
Got saved by dancers I met and drank with on the same day.
Stayed at their place.
Booked busses too late.
Went for a second try at a manga Cafe, succeeded. Celebrated Halloween with a friend from Seattle, drank way too much.

Off to Seoul again on the next day.
Somehow made it to the airport hungover.
Did an exhibition battle on the same day.
Drank way too much in Korea.
Was a guide for my friend in Seoul.
Ended up at a kimbab festival at hangang (of course we ate everything except kimbab 😐).
Ended up Locking while drunk in a Korean Bar.
Stayed out till 5 am everyday, always getting nice food after or during drinking.
Joined battles with friends I made the days before.
Randomly met my German friend @simon.dogsfam in Korea.
Stayed out way too long before my next flight.
Barely had enough money for the bus to the airport. Somehow got the last seat in the bus.

Back to Osaka.
Reunited with other friends I made in Vancouver.
First time at Onsen.
Said goodbyes again.

Flew back to Saigon for 1 1/2 days.
Hung out with family and friends.
Joined an event and went straight to the airport from there.
Got confused for trying to flee Vietnam by the airport security (German passport got me out of trouble).

Got back to Germany again in November.
Weekend trip to London a few weeks after.

This year has been truly blessed! Looking forward to the next!

For those interested in some stories, a shortened and still way too long summary of the year (Part 1):

Said goodbye to my family and friends, left Germany and went to Canada.
Was all by myself for the first time.
Spent so much money on rent.
Was unemployed for way too long.
Joined the homeless in Seattle for one night cause hotels are way too expensive out there.
Border patrol was very skeptical.
Double digits in my bank account, with rent coming up (Craigslist saved my ass).
Worked as extra, made almost no money with Uber eats, made a lot of money as receptionist, out of nowhere worked as Valet on the side (got to drive a Rolls Royce).
Did a few 60 hour work weeks.
Had crazy and also fun shifts at work.
Had meaningful encounters and made friends everywhere along the way.
Drank way too much, shout-out to @locking_in_vancity
Went hiking.
Did some road trips.
Went to every dance event I could.
Had so much fun on Canada day.
Joined some "not animal flow sessions" 👀
Had the best time at the VSDF.
Went for the best beginner locker while drunk (had 1 workshop in my life).
Kept on doing Locking while drunk. Joined other Locking battles.
Entered a house battle.
Got into DJ and played my first gig, thanks to @dj.jaylo
Said goodbye, a lot.

Truly thankful for every friend and connection I made along the way! So much more crazy stuff happened than I could possibly type here. Unfortunately I couldn't take pictures with everyone I met.

Hey Leute, manchmal muss es schnell gehen. Wir haben uns sehr spontan überlegt, dieses Jahr nochmal für euch Musik zu spielen. Und deshalb laden wir euch am Samstag den 14.12. ab 21 Uhr in die Templebar ein.

Euch erwartet in Form von Y-Nam ( @yannis_nam ) ein neues Gesicht in der templebar, der für uns vor allem House spielen wird. Danach reitet @softforce1 , den ihr bereits vom Shitty Paper kennen könnt, die House Welle weiter. Dann gibt's mit @0ae0ae0ae einen gewagten Wechsel auf liquid und andere drum and Bass Subgenre bevor euch @simonbassilius wieder mit Disco und House runter holt.

Hey everyone, sometimes things have to happen quickly. We’ve decided, very spontaneously, to play some music for you again this year. So we’re inviting you to join us on Saturday, December 14th, from 9 PM at the Templebar.

You can look forward to y-nam (@yannis_nam), a fresh face at Templebar, who will kick things off with a set of House music.
