What do you mean there’s a thousand of you?!? I figured it was probably time for a new “meet the bookstagrammer” post so here we are!

The basics:
- Kyrsten ‘KP’
- married to Danny
- mother to Addison & Asher
- a vibes reader

The complex:
I read mostly fantasy & romance with a sprinkle of thriller/mystery here & there. Audiobooks have recently become a fan favorite for me & if I’m not listening to an audiobook I’m listening to music - but please don’t ask me what I like because it changes on the daily. I am always looking for book & music recommendations though & if I love a book/song/anything I won’t ever shut up about it. I go into most books blind and 9 times out of 10 I do not catch any twists or turns in said books. I am funniest in my insta stories.

The Nitty Gritty:
In September of 2024 my 2.5 y/o son was killed by a drunk driver. I tell you this on my ~book~ account because it is very obviously a huge part of my life and it affects me daily so sometimes I’m sad, or mad, or MIA. Some days just suck. However - this community has been such a beacon of light for me during this time. Book recs, distractions, love, prayers… just kindness from everyone has really helped me through this time.

Anyways that’s a lot of words & if you read all that - thanks!

If I haven’t said it enough before - let me just say it again - I am OBSESSED with this series by @katecrewauthor

Rook & Rebel and Ace & Ember have literally not left my mind since I read them. If you’re an audiobook person then I also 1000000% recommend those because they really took it to the next level for me 👀

Anyways Joker & Jinx is out in March and then we get ANOTHER one (Guard & Ghost) later in 2027 also???? Kate keeps us spoiled over here I swear.

August was go go go as usual but I did a worse job at taking pictures this month lmao - I barely read BUT what I did read made me FEEL all the EMOTIONS (Cassandra you know I’m talking to you specifically).

Cat cafes, Disney days, my daughter started KINDERGARTEN 😭😭

Anyways we’re 14 days into September and again, we’ve been go go go. Let’s see if I’m better about pictures this month 😜 taken in BOOKSTA by @yappykp

You took a part of my heart & soul with you that day & I’ll never be whole again without you. Oop- we are BACK with another audiobook recommendation!!

Today we’ve got Yes, Chef by @authorgracereilly and this book was SO FUN. We’ve got a sunshiny influencer FMC & a grumpy chef MMC and they can’t stand each other (*wink wink nudge nudge*) so naturally we stick them in a small town in Florida to work on a project together!! This audiobook had me laughing, blushing, and wishing I had my own chef/kitchen to renovate 😜

Anywho - Gator is my fav (as he should be honestly) & now I think certain things when I see wooden spoons & that’s all you need to know about this book to dive into it 😂

I’ve been listening to banger after banger of audiobooks lately and I’ve just GOTTA tell you about them okay??

Today’s audiobook is Ace & Ember by @katecrewauthor - book two of The Mavericks series and this is EASILY one of the best audiobooks I’ve had the opportunity to listen to. The story itself is 10/10 (love my Evie girl) but the way these narrators bring everything to life really just takes it to the next level for me.

Anyways - Ace & Ember is out TODAY so what are you waiting for?!
