5 small habits that have changed my life! By making these things a part of my daily routine, I am able to focus in on my needs and set aside time for the things I love. Finding daily rituals that bring you joy can really turn daily life into something to look forward to.

Happy TBR Tuesday! This is my current line-up for October. I always do this thing where I set a TBR for the month and then I have a little list of extras. As a mood reader, it’s hard to keep to a TBR so having a few extra options is so helpful. Plus, if I get through my TBR early, I have options on deck 😎

Books on deck are Crescent City by SJM and The Mistake by Elle Kennedy!

Hey! My name is Yara and I am a 26 year old writer and book enthusiast! I am back to Bookstagram after a long hiatus and I thought I’d share a little bit about me.

My writing journey began as a child with a love for reading. I started making my own picture books with folded up printer paper growing up. I studied Creative Writing in college at Western Washington University before pursuing my masters in Creative Writing at University of Southern Maine’s Stonecoast program. I got my degree in 2024 and am working on my first novel!

I primarily write romance, fiction, and creative nonfiction that brings attention to social issues. I believe stories widen our perspectives on the world, bringing to light new ideas, inspiration, and knowledge.

On this page you’ll find all things books and writing as well as a sprinkle of gaming, lifestyle content, and more. I can’t wait to make new friends and contribute to this amazing community!
