A new day means new insight on an incredible event from last week 🗣️

I had the honor to attend and speak at the European External Action Service (EEAS) conference, “Scouts in Conflict Areas: Supporting Communities, Strengthening Resilience,” held in Brussels, Belgium about our experiences in Lebanon, alongside another scout member from Ukraine.
The conference brought together representatives of European institutions and World Scouting to discuss the role of Scouts in conflict-affected communities, with a particular focus on the Youth, Peace and Security agenda.

To quote WOSM on LinkedIn, “the discussion reinforced three important priorities:

- Recognising young people and locally-rooted youth organisations as valuable partners in peacebuilding and community resilience.
- Investing in education, safeguarding and preparedness training that enable young people to contribute safely and meaningfully to peace.
- Strengthening collaboration between youth movements, governments, funders and humanitarian organisations to connect grassroots action with global decision-making.”

Last week reminded me that change doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with a conversation, grows through collaboration, and becomes reality when we turn shared intentions into collective action. Progress may be gradual, but every step matters, especially when it brings us closer to a world where young people are not only heard, but empowered to shape a more peaceful future 🌟 by @yaramatar

Is it really me if I don’t vlog it out?

Enjoy the BTS (the song was insta’s recommendation) ✨ by @yaramatar

Different organizations, different missions, but one shared vision: making sure young people have a voice in shaping the decisions that affect their health and futures.

Joining the WHO Youth Council as the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) representative means being part of a collective effort to challenge health inequities and work towards a world where access to health is not determined by who you are or where you come from.

Grateful to be part of this group, and looking forward to turning our shared purpose into meaningful action✨ by @yaramatar

one of many many many posts with ideologies that need to be debunked ✨ by @yaramatar

I never ever ever imagined I would be posting about this.

Thank you for being a role model, for showing us how to never succumb to our disease and to always push through, make plans and hope for a better tomorrow amidst all the chaos.
I guess God thought your presence was needed more up there, for you to be reunited with teta and jeddo, and I get that because you were and always will be all too special.

I love you forever and will continue to make you proud.
