Last week we came together for the Pana x Yard + Parish Spring mini-day retreat, and wow 🥹BPOC yoga club has grown into such a beautiful and soul nurturing community. Our seasonal gatherings are a chance to dive deeper; a space for self discovery, to unwind and connect with each other through wellbeing rituals. We flowed through yoga and breathwork with @rebekahzeenajade then to a panel talk on beauty, haircare and self care rituals with Samantha & Alesha @yardandparish, Roshanne @theglowceryshop and Natalie @empwr.life. The day was rounded off with guided journaling and restorative sound healing with @siansoul_ ✨Thank you so much to all who joined us, and to our practitioners who made the day special. Thank @fodbods for supplying the nutritional nourishment and to @yardandparish for the wonderful goody bags.We’re back with our regular sessions from Saturday 13th April. We chatted all things from unorthodox creative processes to the possibilities of the African economy through art and it was truly magical. And the exhibition is open to view until 17. October! Explore the profound connections between art, culture, and identity in the African diaspora spanning the countries of Burundi, Ghana, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe. The exhibit highlights the profound connections between art, culture, and identity in the African diaspora. Many of the artisans featured have roots in countries as diverse as Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ghana, and more. Their works showcase techniques such as weaving, wood-turning, and pottery—skills that have been preserved through migration and adaptation. The exhibit reveals how artisans are not only preserving their heritage but also contributing to a global conversation about sustainability, creativity, and the reclamation of cultural pride in contemporary design.
