Let’s talk about the stigma around “newly qualified” or “junior” stylists… 👀✂️

Some people hear “junior stylist” and immediately think “I’m not letting them anywhere near my hair!” 😂

But being newly qualified doesn’t mean we’re not skilled, passionate or capable. We’re constantly learning, perfecting our techniques and putting so much care into every appointment. 🤍

And let’s be honest… you can leave a stylist with 20 years of experience and still think, “Hmm… this isn’t quite what I pictured” — especially when you’ve asked to try something completely different! 😂

So why not trust the process and give someone new a chance? You might just discover your new favourite stylist. 👀✨

✨ A little GRWM before my first client of the day…

Getting my hair ready for the salon using some of my current go-to products 🤍

I’m using a selection of Davines products, including their hairspray, OI Oil and leave-in conditioner, alongside O&M Heat Protector to prep, protect and finish my hair.

Using the right products makes such a difference to the final look — and they’re also great for keeping your hair looking and feeling salon-fresh between appointments.

✨ Curly refresh ✨

Today I gave my client’s curls a beautiful refresh, removing some of the extra weight and bringing her natural curl pattern back to life 🤍

The result? Soft definition, gorgeous movement, and so much bounce — just look at those curls! 😍✨
