I have a new guitar 🌻 An Epiphone Firebird 🐦‍🔥

I shouldn't really be spending money on guitars at the moment because I'm currently in the process of moving house, but this was Dani's favourite model and when I saw a second hand one come up for sale locally, in the colour that she liked, I thought I'd go and check it out.

Whenever we were on the road together we'd always keep an eye out for vintage shops, hippie shops, and guitar shops. We both loved colourful clothes and cool guitars, and whenever Dani saw a Firebird like this she'd always point it out to me. So, now we have one of our own, and she would have loved it 💜🌻🐦‍🔥 by @yardbirdarts

It's Dani's Birthday, she would have been 38 🌻💜🌻 by @yardbirdarts

Today is 6 months since Dani's passing, and over the last few weeks we've passed 12 months since the tumour was found, and the operation to remove it, during which she had a stroke which she never fully recovered from. It breaks my heart when I think about how she suffered and how hard she fought. Next week is her birthday, she will have been 38, and a few weeks after that, on the 23rd of August, it will be 19 years since the day we met. With all of these milestones being passed my emotions have been up and down a lot recently, but I'm so grateful for all of the amazing people around me who have been supporting me in so many ways 🌻 by @yardbirdarts

That's a wrap! 💥 Yesterday we played the last gig of our first @thebluesrockroadshow tour 🧿

Dani would be so happy and proud to see all of this come together in the way that it has 🌻💜🌻

Thank you so much to all involved and all who made it out to see us over the last month! The turnouts and audiences have been beyond our expectations and the gigs have been so much fun to play 🙏

We'll be back on the road with this show next year! 👊🤙
