As part of my Year of Little Fiber Co, I made a plan to use my Nature in Macro club skeins. I didnt have the full year's colors, so I combined with other lovely yarn in my collection to make a sort of fade.

Mostly 2ply fingering held double, but with a worsted in the mix as well as a couple sparkly colors. Intended as a couch blanket or for my toddler, but the older kid has suggested it should be hers instead 😋

It was so fun getting back to my crochet roots. Used the Neat ripple from @attic24 and am very pleased with the result. I might have to make another with scraps and or minis!

Tour de Fleece projects!
My main goal is to spin a little every day, and to finish my current WIPs.

1. Rainbow OOAK from @littlefiberco (8oz total)
Thanks to TdF motivation, I finished the singles and am ready to ply!
2. Montadale on drop spindle
These colors are my wheelhouse but the handfeel is not my favorite. Will likely switch to the EEW after this section.

I'd love to start new spins from stash, both on my e-wheel and the lovely drop spindles I'm trying on loan from @salenask . We shall see how far I get.

My Badass in the Arena socks are done and the squish factor is UNREAL. Sport weight socks might be my new favorite, though I'm still dialing in my perfect fit in this pattern.

I was working on this project in yarn I bought myself last Mother's day....when the yarn I bought myself THIS Mother's day arrived, also from Kate at Red Door, also for socks 😂

While knitting I found myself thinking "ooh I especially love the bright bits, and the dark bits" then realized that those are the BLUEST parts! So I am nothing if not consistent in my color preferences 💙🩵

So close on my Market Henley! I'm doing 3/4 sleeves and hoping to finish this week. Dreaming about my next cast on, but loving the focus of a single garment WIP.

DK Vanilla socks (less blue than shown, but oh well)
Already fuzzy and a little floppy from being worn 😋
So comfy, love the speckles and variegation- this yarn was a joy to knit up.

I delayed posting my Stinger pullover, hoping to get nice outside photos...maybe sometime in the future.

I knit size E for a comfy oversized fit, there are more of these in my future! This test version is a single color reverse stockinette, but I can't wait to work up a striped version. A drop shoulder is my favorite fit right now, and the pattern is so customizable.

One of my few January finished knits!

A Doppio-ish sweater for my daughter, to match mine! It is big for her, lots of room to grow. Hopefully when it fits she will still want to match me 😋

The first hand dyed fiber I ever bought, finally used.
Sweet pastel floor in a 3ply, maybe a little less consistent in the plying because I need to get used to my new lazy Kate.

Just for fun, I picked a theme for next year.
2026 is going to be my year of Little Fiber co! I have accumulated a lot of yarn from Lauren @littlefiberco , including a lot with The Yarn Addict label, and more recently some fiber. Excited to get it worked up into sweaters, socks, hats, and blankets to be worn and loved.

I have at least tentative plans for the yarn, the fiber is mostly TBD since I'm a novice spinner. Hoping to make room for more gorgeous LFC fiber!

Lately I'm getting a head start on this project - a braid of Citrus Skies is on my e-wheel, I recently bound off my Joji MKAL in "This Ball Will Never End", and this week cast on a kid sweater using my Doppio leftovers (TYAC OOAK + Explorer Knits LNT + Fyberspates Cumulus)

The only skeins I may not finish using are the Ivory, which is a multi-year blanket contender.

Year-end feels like a good time to review my yarn and fiber collection, and it is making me excited to play with these beautiful colors! by @yarn.yen
