my #hiltoncardigan from @sandnesgarn is done!!

i really love the fit and the colors i ended up choosing!! i’m so excited for spring but it’s still not fully warm here yet so this will be perfect with the light spring colors but still giving warmth 💗

i used:
@sandnesgarn peer gynt
held together with
@sandnesgarn alpaca följetråd (white)
@filcolana alva (blue)

i loved working with peer gynt and will definitely do so in the future 💗

(go listen to bloom hour)

my first hand knitted sweater is done!! 💗

the clips i filmed for this are not perfect let’s just say that but it works i think…

this is the novice sweater by @petiteknit in a size m
yarn @lanemondial mohair color

it took me around a month from actually getting a good start to complete and i’m happy with that especially with being a beginner. the sweater is blocking rn and i’m excited to share more details about it later🫣

the finished @petiteknit penny gloves!! they are for my mom so i asked her to model them for me💗 then it’s my hand on the second photo

they knit up fast but i did have some problems with laddering.. it’s just i have to work a bit on my dpn technique as this was the second ever project i did with them

in the end im very happy with them and have enough yarn to make another pair!! i also did really like the process💗

the yarn is @mondialtissus cashmere in the color 929. It was extremely nice and i liked working with it!!

my first double pointed needle project!! these are some shorter hand warmers and they ended up feeling so cozy and nice!! i really like how they feel, even tho they are not perfect.. these are just self made but the inspiration and the thumb technique is from petite knits “penny gloves” 💕

i made these to try double pointed knitting and i love it, i truly do not like magic loop.. that’s what i started with in the beginning of knitting and it just for me takes such a long time. I was scared to try DPN, it looked so complicated but after a short video i got it!! it’s in my opinion a much better option then magic loop for me personally 💗

yarn used: @isageryarn soft E6s

knitted skinny fall scarf for my sibling <3 🧡

i really liked how it turned out in the end even tho i don’t personally look the best in the second clip let’s just say 😭 it will fit my sibling perfectly tho as it’s way more their aesthetic then mine!! but i still wanted to share what i made 🧡

are you crocheter intimidated by knitting here are a few things that might make it feel less intimidating!!

i have crochet for 2 years now and recently started knitting, i was very intimidated by knitting for a long time. but i sat down and actually tried and it was difficult but the more i researched the more i understood and that’s what made me keep going!! there is a lot of knitting techniques and patterns out there if you want to learn one take it slow and watch/read about everything technique use, you will understand them if you truly want to💗

here is how i did my first pattern following:
find a beginner tutorial of something you have always wanted to learn and just sit down and watch/read the process. i am a virtual learner so i choose a video. find beginners friendly tutorials that show you exactly how to do the techniques you need to use in the pattern and practice doing them!! 💗

good luck and i hope this will make it a bit easier at least!!

hi!! 💗

i crochet these flowers earlier this year and it’s one of my favorite things i have made so i thought i had to share it!! i made these for my parents friends weeding and they ended up loving them and being so appreciative <3 they still have them on display in their home to this day. making something for someone that actually appreciates everything that goes into making something with your own hands is such an amazing feeling!! make stuff for people that will love and will appreciate it 💗
